"He (Bergeaud) has always spoken about playing as a team and about youngsters, but then he takes a 30-year-old naturalized American," said Gelabale of Tariq Kirksay who is actually 27 years old. "I am now going to get ready for next season."</div> Source: PA Sports Ticker
To be honest I didn't think that either Gelabale or Petro played well enough in the World Championship to deserve a spot on the French National Team anyway. Neither one of those guys are scorers and neither one of those guys are consistent role players. I played against Tariq Kirksay in college and one thing about him is that he is aggressive offensively - and he competes at the other end as well. I guess you will see as much as 5 players (Petro, Gelebale, Sene, Durant, and if we move up into the first round another prospect) with guaranteed deals on our summer league team this year -- with most of them watching Kevin Durant dominate the action.
