<div class="quote_poster">Voodoo Child Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Daniel Gibson is trash. He just had a few good games in the playoffs benefiting from extra pressure on LeBron James. He'll fizzle out as soon as he made a name for himself though, as he's a barely-six foot shooting guard in a point guard's body. He's about as defensively sound as Steve Nash and runs the point offensively like Chucky Atkins.

Either way, there's no real point guard in the draft worth taking who hasn't been taken yet in our mock by #26.</div>
    I'd have to agree^^^^

What you guys aren't factoring in is that if we draft a PG, he's not gonna get good minutes. PG is the worst position for a rookie to step in and play right away. Example, Tony Parker. We're trying to win a championship, so our best bet is to fill in the immediate holes. We need some athletes on this team.

Hey you guys should check out Morris Almond. The guy is an unbelivable shooter, clutch shooter and a great athlete. Has a nice first step and can finish at the rim. Problem is he doesn't seem to care about defence but i am sure we could change that. I think he'd be great beside T-Mac or Outside for Yao Ming. What you all think?

<div class="quote_poster">Umair Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">I just threw Alando Tucker's name out to see what the Rockets fans would say. I earlier stated that we should trade the pick for a veteran player. We should trade for an experienced point guard who can run this team well. We don't at this moment need to draft Centers to develop in 3-4 years when we have Yao already. Tmac's back has been treating him bad, and it will most likely get worse.</div>

I think Alando Tucker would be a great pick, but in this particular mock, we have Tucker going before the #26 pick, so it's a moot point.

I can see that happening, especially with the Rice connection. I personally think Almond will be a bust though. I watched a lot of C-USA games this year (and will be playing in the C-USA next year as well [IMG]), and most of Almond's big outings came against weak opponents, and likewise, he got shut down when he played Marqutte (5-14 FG), Oregon (3-8 FG), Gonzaga (4-15 FG), and Memphis (5-14 FG).
