Trevor Ariza-
Carlos Arroyo-
Keyon Dooling-
Tony Battie-

Dwight Howard- Free Throws
Darko Milcic- Free Throws
Jameer Nelson- Free Throws
JJ Redick- hmmmm... Getting to the Free throw line
Trevor Ariza- Free Throws
Carlos Arroyo- Reduce careless passes
Keyon Dooling- Pass more
Tony Battie- Free Throws
Hedo Turkoglu- Shoot the open 3, quit pump faking
Grant Hill- Quit trying to crossover, they got you figured out
Keith Bogans- Be consistent on the 3's
Travis Diener- Find a way to get on the court
James Augustine- see Diener
Pat Garrity- Retire and sit in the stands
Bo Outlaw- Preach, preach and preach those kids...

Free throws was the underlying theme of my improvements. How many more games do you think we could have won by making just 5 or 6 more free throws a game???

Dwight Howard-I really want to say free throws ,but I'm gonna have to go with passing. He needs to find the open guy. More passes from him the more we can create.

Darko Milcic- Jump shot. He loves taking these buy only hits 3 outta 10 he takes. If he can start hitting these outside shots. He will become more versatile but more importantly him taking the jumper will force big men out of the paint therefore having d12 all down there alone.

Jameer Nelson- Passing. He averaged around 4 assists a game which isnt great at all for a point guard espically when he isnt backing it up with points. I would like to see him pass first rather than shoot first.

JJ Redick- Speed. yes he is fast but with bigger, taller guards defending him speed will give him that extra edge to get his shot off or get to the basket.

Trevor Ariza- Dribbling(coordination)..this would prevent less turnovers and give him extra confidence.

Carlos Arroyo- Shooting. He loves to shooting so hopefully he gets better at it.

Keyon Dooling- Playing to tempo..dude has way to high of a tempo.. which yes is good but can be bad at times. If he can figure out when to run and when to slow it down..he can become a better point guard

Tony Battie- Aggresiveness.. always getting pushed around..needs to start working out with dwight and start getting rough in the paint.

Hedo Turkoglu- Footwork- did you see how many times he was called for traveling this year?

Grant Hill- Stamina..he is great but needs to get his stamina back so if we need him for 48 solid mins we can count on him.

Keith Bogans- everything

Travis Diener- defense

James Augustine- bulk up

Pat Garrity- seriously?

Bo Outlaw- he is perfect in every aspect of the game

Dwight Howard- Passing, he'll have less TO's. Free throws a close 2nd.
Darko Milcic- Free throws.
Jameer Nelson- Passing. He needs to give the ball up to our bigs most importantly and rack up the assists.
JJ Redick- Defense. I actually didn't think he was a bad defender during the games I saw him, but if he can get better then he won't be as much of a liability with him and Jameer in the backcourt. Hopefully he gets some solid playing time under SVG.
Trevor Ariza- Jumpshot. If he develops a nice jumper over the off-season then watch out, because that's one of the few things missing from his game. He needs to improve his freethrow shooting too.
Carlos Arroyo- Get more consistent in the shooting category. Better shot selection.
Keyon Dooling- Work on 3 pointer.
Tony Battie- Shot blocking.
Hedo Turkoglu- Take less shots.
Grant Hill- I'll say stamina too.
Keith Bogans- Work on shooting.
Travis Diener- Prove to the coaches why you deserve more playing time.
James Augustine- Same as Diener.
Pat Garrity- Hand out towels faster.
Bo Outlaw- Free throws.

The entire team needs to work on their footwork. We had some many traveling calls last year and it was everyone. Of course Dwight and Hedo has their fair share but everyone from Nelson to Hill traveled.

Dwight Howard- Post Moves, range, free throws.
Darko Milcic- Consistency, post moves, free throws.
Jameer Nelson- Decision making, consistency, pass-first mentality.
JJ Redick- Bulking up, ball handling, speed.
Trevor Ariza- Range/Jumpshot, attack the basket more, free throws.
Carlos Arroyo- Decision making, consistency, range.
Keyon Dooling- Decision making.
Tony Battie- Nothing to improve. Be a mentor/veteran.
Hedo Turkoglu- Consistency.
Grant Hill- Come back. [IMG]
Keith Bogans- Jumpshot.

The others weren't worth mentioning to be honest.

Dwight Howard- FT's is a huge bonus, but the thing that I think he needs to work on the most is his footwork. If he got better footwork then he would be more of a beast under the basket and that will help to minimize his turnovers and make him a much more efficient player. He can be a dependable guy under the basket. Duncan struggles at the line, but is still a stud on offense because he has great footwork and is a smart player.

Darko Milicic-Range. He needs to shoot a bunch of jump shots this offseason to get more consistent. If he can extend his range close to the 3 point line the more the middle will open up for Dwight and I think we all would agree that if Darko can have that consistent jump shot it will benefit Dwight A LOT.

Jameer Nelson- He needs to improve his jump shot. There's not much more that he could do to improve his defense and there isn't much that he could improve his decision making while not playing. If he can consistently hit the 3 ball or that mid range jump shot that again will open up the middle for Dwight and more importantly will open up driving lanes for him so that he could drive and score or drive and dish, because opposing PG's would have to respect his jumper.

JJ Redick-Not much he can do to improve his speed or defense. His main thing would be ball handling. If he can improve his ball handling it will open up his jump shot and he could get to the line a little more.

Trevor Ariza-The biggest improvement for him should be his ball handling. If he gets a better handle he will improve his offensive game a lot.

Keyon Dooling-Ball handling again. I don't know about everyone else, but I don't really trust him being a PG for awhile. If he improves his ball handling then he could probably be our starting PG(if we start JJ).

Tony Battie-Not much to improve, just keep veteran leadership.

Hedo Turkoglu-Confidence. He just needs more confidence in his 3 point jump shot. Too many times he has a wide open shot and he passes it up to take a shot just inside the arc or to try to drive.

Grant Hill-See Tony Battie. Maybe a little more range.

Everyone else is pretty much worthless to say.

Dwight Howard- Start off by FTs. Then get a post game man. Detroit killed him in the series because all he could do was dunk. Where's the baby hook or a little jumper?
Darko Milcic- Supposedly he has a jumper. I wanna see it. He always shoots that ugly ass hook of his. Also be more aggressive.
Jameer Nelson- Pass the ball!!!! Stop shooting if you are off. Be a better defender.
JJ Redick- Bulk up. Attack the rim. Get a short jumper and learn to play D.
Trevor Ariza- Work on a jumper. Don't make stupid fouls either.
Carlos Arroyo- Leave this team Okay fine, be a better decision maker, shoot more consistently, stop doing stupid ass passes, play better D, go back to Puerto Rico......
Keyon Dooling- Better decision maker, shoot more jumpers, attack the basket and dish out
Tony Battie- Be more involved in the offense he isn't that bad, get your blocks up man and continue to lead by example
Hedo Turkoglu- attack the basket, stop shooting too much, play defense, pass more
Grant Hill- if you return, then lead by example you're okay except when you try to drive on someone, the whole league knows you can't
Keith Bogans- be more consistent with your 3, keep up the D, attack the rim
Travis Diener- bulk up, prove yourself, be a better passer
James Augustine- I really don't know about him. He's about done anyways.
Pat Garrity- LEAVE And NEVER come back.
Bo Outlaw- Stay pimpin

Dwight Howard- I have to go with free throws. Teams would just hack him late in games last season and he was killing us out there with missed free throws. Had he been able to hit some free throws, we may not have been swept in Detroit (we wouldn't have won the series but still).

Darko Milcic- Confidence. His low post offense improved a lot last season, his defense has always been good, and he has a jump shot that Van Gundy wants to take advantage of. I think as long as his confidence is high (like it was against Detroit) he'll have a huge season.

Jameer Nelson- Distributing the ball. Consistency is another thing he needs to work on but passing the ball and running the offense is even more important. Point guards get people involved, not jack up threes and hold the ball. Jameer needs to learn that.

JJ Redick-
Defense. If he were a better defender he would get a helluva lot more playing time. He's a liability on defense (although he wasn't as bad as people made him out to be last year) so if he can improve that, he could get huge minutes here in Orlando.

Trevor Ariza- Mid-range jump shot. Ariza is by far our best slasher and he is good at finishing at the rim. He can't hit a jump shot to save his life though so he really needs to work on that. Free throws are important for him too since he's usually drawing contact at the rim.

Carlos Arroyo- Don't be so selfish, inconsistent and flashy. He can be great off the bench some games but others he tries too hard and wants to be the hero. He was good earlier on last season but then he really dropped off. He needs to work on being a better passer (like Jameer) and being consistent.

Keyon Dooling- Pass more. When he comes in the game he helps our defense and fast break but there is no reason he should be taking three pointers and contested jumpshots with tons of time left on the shot clock. He needs to pass the ball more and feed Dwight in the post like Bogans did when he was getting a lot of minutes.

Tony Battie-
Free throws. All of our big men need to be able to shoot free throws or else we're never going to be a great team. All of the dominating teams hit their free throws. Hopefully the free throw coach we're bringing in helps that.

Hedo Turkoglu- Consistency, consistency and consistency. He?s one of our most inconsistent players. When he is hot, he is close to unstoppable. When he is cold, he can?t buy a shot. He was good in this year?s playoffs and if he can stay consistent for a large part of next season, he?ll make an impact off of the bench (assuming we bring in a starting wing like Gerald Wallace or Rashard Lewis).

Grant Hill- Come back. The rumors about Hill going to Detroit really make me nervous. He is one of our leaders and captains and he is important to this team. He owes it to the city, team and fans after wasting our money by getting hurt all of those years. I understand he wants to win a championship but with rumors about Rasheed leaving (which could lead to Billups leaving), he may have a better shot winning one here. [IMG]

Keith Bogans- Last season he added a long range shot to his offensive arsenal and I still don?t understand why he disappeared from the rotation in the middle of last season. He played great while he was getting minutes and I think he just needs to work on his dribbling because he isn?t as effective when he puts the ball on the floor (he?s like our Bruce Bowen, good defender/three point shooter, bad at putting the ball on the floor and creating his own shot).

Travis Diener- I doubt he?ll be here next season but if he is, work on his defense. He has great range and he plays with tons of passion. His size and defense are the only things holding him back at this point but even still I don?t think he received a fair chance last season under Hill. Hopefully he gets some more minutes this season if he returns.

James Augustine-
Work on his defense and rebounding. We don?t need any more scoring from the bench so if he wants to crack the rotation under Van Gundy, he needs to become a hustle player who does the things that don?t show up in the box score (like our Anderson Varejao for instance).

Pat Garrity- Leave town. Garrity is horrible and takes minutes away from our actual players. Trade his expiring contract for someone who doesn?t suck.

Bo Outlaw-
Bo doesn?t really need to improve anything. He is always hustling, joking with guys in the locker room, and giving 110% on the court. Outlaw is awesome and changing an aspect of his game wouldn?t help him or the Magic at this point in his career.

So agreed on Outlaw. The guy is a total class act and is 110% heart. He'd be out there in a wheelchair in his 70s grabbing boards if they'd let him.

Man I seriously love Travis Diener. I used to watch him back at Marquette and he was a BEAST! I mean durin that summer camp the rookies go through i remember him killin all other teams!! he plays a lot like Kirk Hinrich, which is a good thing. But I mean when the magic got him, he was behind 3 solid PGs from the get go. I hate sayin this, but he would be better off on another team, unless SVG wants to play him more. I mean he already developed one MArquete star in Dawayne Wade...so who knows. lol

Dwayne Wade>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Travis Diener

It's really hard to say you need to develop Diener when he hasn't really played.

Naw dude, don't think I'm comparing Wade with Diener. I mean there not even in the same league. I'm just sayin I'd really like to see this guy get some minutes and unless SVG loves the guy he probably wont get those minutes in Orlando.

And remember that summer league i was talkin about? I just found his numbers. In the 2006 Pepsi Pro Summer League, Diener averaged 20.3 points, 6.5 assists!

And back in college he averaged 20 ppg, 4 rpg, and 7 apg.

I know this guy isnt a superstar and all. But I'd just love to see him play. I mean whenever he does he knocks down threes. He once lead the NBA in 3 point shooting Average. Give the kid a shot man!! [IMG]

Not to mention he ran the offense better than any of our other PG's when he was given playing time.

LOL I knew you weren't comparing them. Diener, when he plays, has solid numbers. Those Summer League numbers are great. If he can take minutes away from Arroyo and Dooling, then he will have the playing time he deserves.
