Kidd is still as talented as any point guard but he's also 11 years older than Parker, 25. Plus, Kidd had major knee surgery four years ago and is entering the twilight of his career. Parker was very angry at the time and didn't want to leave San Antonio, but I'm not sure about Kidd. But a Kidd and Duncan duo could be similar to a Stockton and Malone. Except without the pick and rolls.
I could care less about Parker's situation at that time. All I know is Kidd would have had at least one ring at the moment. It's nice to see that Kidd wanted to work with NJ though, rather than come to the instant contender. Unfortunately after two straight runs, Nets started to slowly fall apart.
Well if Kidd would of sign with the Spurs he would of probably won a championship by know, and that Kidd/Duncan duo will be mad cool.But a wonder what would of happen to Tony Parker.
