<div class="quote_poster">M Two One Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Ah ok, well that's crap. I forget now, have you started at Tulane before the end of year or are you going to next season? Also, how is the college, if you know much about it yet. BTW, did you go to any Bulls games? I mean, you had to of. lol</div>

Nah, I'll start there next semester. I've been down there a few times though, twice for official visits, once for a press deal, and once for an orientation. It's a beautiful campus. It was surprisingly unaffected by Katrina (although some areas of the city are still completely devestated). Out of all the schools I was looking to transfer into, the only school that I thought had a more beautiful campus was Vanderbilt (in Nashville). That campus is just amazing. I actually looked at UC too, but it was way too urban for me. I like that college town atmosphere, yano?

As for the Bulls, nope, never made it to a game. It wasn't that I didn't want to go but rather that I just couldn't score tickets. The NBA's prices are ridiculous these days for decent seats, and sitting in the nosebleeds is no fun. I saw the Illini play Illinois-Chicago in the United Center though, at only a fraction of the cost of a Bulls ticket. Both teams shot horribly, but you've gotta love the atmosphere of collegiate games regardless of how the actual game winds up.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">I'm gonna start playing basketball again. Today, I played my first game of basketball in like, 1 year. My shot was completely off, it wasn't even funny, but I got quicker and much stronger. I was able to take it to the hoop for some layups. I'm definetly going to start practicing again though, shooting used to be the strong point of my game, but now it's my weakest. I can't wait for some summer basketball

    I worked out a HUGE sweat btw</div>

Whoa, a whole year? I figured just about everyone on here played. How can you be this into basketball and not have the urge to go out and play a game yourself? That would just kill me, sitting here talking about it all day but never actually playing.

To each his own though. I guess if you don't have a court you can go to and play around with some other guys, there's not really much an incentive. I'm living about a block from the local Y at the moment though, so I can just walk down there every day and get in a few hours of basketball (actually just coming from there at the moment). It really clears my mind like nothing else.

And MrJ, Isiah Thomas won't draft another white guy. This is the same guy who said that Larry Legend (the greatest player to ever play the game) would have been considered an average player if he were black.

Yeah I always make sure I'm out in the backyard at least once a day for a shoot around, just to keep myself if good condition. My turnaround jump shot is insane, I could give Kobe a run for his money I reckon, hahaha.

Just too bad I choke when it comes to game time, lol [IMG]

There's an unwritten rule that you must have at least one white guy on your team, which is why he drafted Lee.

Btw, you really think Bird is better than Jordan?

Lol, yeah. The Knicks just got lucky they have Lee to fulfill their quota and not Evan Eschmeyer.

And about Bird, I was just exagerrating to drive home the point of how stupid Isiah is.

I do think there's less of a gap than people let onto though. Bird didn't win as many titles, but Jordan didn't have to compete with Kareem, Magic, and the whole Lakeshow. All in all, I think Jordan was a better player, but almost by an insignificant margin. I'm not that sure that I'd rather have him on my team than Bird or Magic. Those three, imo are #1a, #1b, and #1c on the greatest of all-time lists.

BTW - The Cavs would have won the series if they played Brown more -

The best one is when he dunks on the guy from the freethrow line. It kinda reminded me of Ricky Davis on Steve Nash except he took off from farther.

Why hasn't Shannon Brown really logged any real minutes in Cleveland?

Yeah, the best part about that dunk was how it just came out of nowhere. I watched every MSU game this year because I had fullcourt, so I was watching that one, and it was slow paced as hell, a typical Big 10 slugfest, then out of nowhere Brown just exploded with that transition dunk. The other great part about the dunk is that he kneed the guy in the face, haha. He's had a lot flashier dunks, especially in warmups and dunk contests, but that one was still sick. Out of the dunks that guy chose for the highlight though, the best one is that one over Randolph Morris. Just check out the still from it -

He hasn't logged any minutes because of the behind-the-scenes drama, apparently. I think he's not on good terms with Mike Brown or LeBron James. He won't say who's keeping him from playing, but he's been really open about saying that it's not him nor his injuries that have kept him from playing but rather something that has gone on behind the scenes that we just didn't see as fans.

Dude bent up the rim in that pic.

So if he's not on good terms with LeBron or Mike, can we expect him to be traded soon?

Same here. I've been away from basketball for a long while, but I've added speed and strength (since I've started to work out). I think I'm definetly going to be a better player in the long run

I'd hope so, but without knowing what exactly went on behind the scenes, that's hard to say.

Anyone seen this new BP commericla? I like it. [IMG]

    ^ Hippie.

It's supposed to be summer but like usual, Washington is fluctuating between rain and sun like 20 times a day.

So nice in Toronto right now, like 28 and sunny.

I have a question for you guys, if your about to go out with a girl, and she broke up with her boyfriend and told you she hated him, then goes all the way with that guy right before you two are about to go out, should you be angry?
