Does anyone piss their pants when they hear hidden messages on backmasked tracks? I don't know why, but they scare the crap out of me.

Hahahaha, well I was going for my License this Friday, although my Driving Instructer kept calling me up and hasselling me for more lessons (aka more $$$ for her) even though I told her 4 weeks ago after our last lesson that I cant afford it right now. I stayed at my friends house last night as she wanted to cook me dinner, so the Instructer calls up my mum at home today and starts telling her how I must buy some more lessons before my test, to become familiar with the area the test is in so I pass (which is total bullsh*t), and my mum tells her to call me. So she calls me, I'm sitting there at my friends house playing Super Mario on SNES, and starts laying down threats about how if I'm not serious about doing my test, she'll give my spot to some one else (even though I've already paid), I just pretty much blew her off as I didnt want to speak with her, but once I got home I told my mum what she had said to me, and I called her back, thats when I got really pissed off at her, I started yelling sh*t at her, and owned her hardcore, she had no comeback for what I was saying to her. She even called up like 30 minutes later and offered me free lessons, hahahaha.

Felt good exploding like that, since im usually so passive and never lash out like that, she was adament to giving me back my money for the test, but once I started getting agressive she caved. Goes to show you that thats the only way to get things done.

You're not alone. Even though people say its just a coincidence that the words turn out as they are, it still scares me to death. The voices are just plain creepy. Which ones have you heard Will?

Come to think of it, anyone into politics was a real nerd back then. But anyway, so this kid drove a red Jeep with lots of anarchistic symbols on them and stupid **** like Bob Marley, even though the kid never smoked weed, yet was ironically very fat. Moral of the story, socialists suck.

lol, I know what you're talking about. I see kids like that at my university all the time. They pay $25 for a Che Guevuera t-shirt, to show how communist they are. The irony is priceless.

I'm actually not a socialist. More a democratic socialist like Bahir was talking about.

The voices don't scare me as much, but just the shock of actually knowing there's a message there kind of haunts me. Especially if they are like Satanic or messages that artists do want you to listen to.

    I've heard all of these:

Quick question about contacts for whoever wears them here.

I wear monthly disposable ones but I wanna know whether the contacts becoming un-wearable depend on how many times you've worn it within a month or because after a month it's shelf life just dies out?

Technically, you can wear one pair for 1-3 months, but you have to have it really clean and my eyes are way too sensitive for that so I have to replace them every month.

Yea, the month is basically an estimate, but there are other factors that can shorten or stretch the period. Don't you usually feel it? I tend to shoot for the month, and when they start to go out of focus or make my eyes itchy then I know its time to switch to a new pair. Most of the time that's a week or so past the month, but sometimes they become unwearable before the month is over.

Well, I have only worn my new pair once since I opened them (around May 25th), so I'm hoping they'll last me till July or so, because I have no money left to buy new boxes, and that was my last pair out of my other box.

I can agree, there are aspects of socialism which should be adopted. I think the majority of people in the US don't like the idea of socialism because it involves paying high taxes.

Actually, there is is quite a big difference between democratic socialism and social democracy. The similar name thingy kind of reminds me of a few scenes in Monty Python's "The Life of Brian"... anyone seen that one?

Hahaha I do that all the time. Mine are only supposed to last 14 days.. and I often wear them for over a month. Never bothers me, and everyday feels fresh as long as you remember to clean them thoroughly every once in a while and change the solution every day.

Thing is, I haven't even cleaned the solution since the last time I've worn them (May 25th). I cleaned em after I wore em for the last time, but they've feel laying in "fresh" solution since. Either way, I don't think that matters because the lenses haven't technically gotten dirty since, which is the whole point of adding solution anyway.

Word on the street is that the Grizzlies love Joakim Noah. I'd leave town if that happened.

To anyone who knows anything about college ball, how does this look as a text-only top 25 for next season?

I just watched a documentary on NBATV on the 1995 Houston Rockets. Hakeem has some of the greatest footwork I have ever seen. That whole team's run was amazing; very dramatic championship, and a very fitting ending (Olajuwon's unlikely 3).

That "Dream Shake" on Robinson is more impressive to me than Jordan's "switch in the air" manuever. Beating Utah (w/ Malone & Stockton), Phoenix (Charles Barkley, KJ) and the Spurs (with the "MVP"), not to mention the up-and-coming Magic (w/ Shaq & Penny) is quite a difficult task, but the Rockets somehow managed to do it. Now I understand why they're called "Clutch City". Very cool documentary.

I'm not that knowledgeable about incoming players, so my opinion doesn't hold a lot of weight. But isn't Georgetown losing both Green and Hibbert? That's a lot of talent to make up for.

I honestly feel like this year's Bruins will be better than the previous two years. Collison's easily one of the best PG's in the country, I think Shipp has what it takes to be the primary scorer, and Kevin Love brings another dimension that the team hasn't had for a while. We look more well-rounded now. If Mbah a Moute rebounds with a nice season as well, I think they can be legit title contenders.
