Am I the only one who remembers the t.v. show "Out of this World"????

My hunger has made me resort to remembering the old theme song from that show.

lol. I didn't really laugh when Wade got injured but man that video was funny. It showed how Wade really cried and took it like a girl. I know it was painful and all but the dude was crying and people mocking him crying and exaggerating was hillarious.

That's not even comparable since Childs' suckerpunched Kobe then backed off.

Also, the wheelchair is what clinches it for me with Wade.

So what if it's against my religion? It's my body, I'll do what I want with it. I believe in God, but I don't believe in half of the stuff the Church preaches, go ahead and grill me. Please, I'm dying for this!</div>

Ok so you're half Christian? Well if you dont believe in half the stuff, then dont call yourself a christain. If you know something is wrong, why do it?

Lol half christian? How about I'm full 100% Roman Catholic, but I don't believe half the stuff the church preaches. I believe in God, and that's all you need to do to get to Heaven. The bible says, to be saved believe in God. It doesn't mention anything about going to church every Sunday.

I'll call myself a Catholic if I choose to, getting tattoos aren't wrong. You live your little holy lifestyle, see how far that gets you and how sheltered you'll end up being. You think people laugh at you a lot now? Wait until you get older and are sheltered and even more ignorant.

No offence dude, but not everyone is strict and religious to the point that you may be. Not everyone follows every single thing written in scripture in thier religion. You're going to encounter a lot of people like that in your life, and I think it's unfair for you to just say "don't label yourself a Christian" to Mamba because he doesn't comply with every single belief that the religion promotes.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">If you know something is wrong, why do it?</div>

It's wrong against the RELIGION, not wrong in general.

On another note, I hate people who crave attention. There were girls in my school who would start crying IN CLASS because they handed in an assignment late for the first time. And then there's those super-perfection nerds who believe that they are smarter then everyone else.

If you believe in half the stuff the preacher says, then you don't believe in your religion fully. So you're telling me that you can have sex before marriage, kill people, do bad stuff but just because you believe in God you'll go to heaven? So all a person needs to do is believe in God and do bad stuff and you believe they'll go to heaven?

I dont really care about your class experience, your shifting the topic up. We are talking about Mamba getting tattoos. Of course it is against the religion, thats what I had meant. Ok not everyone is perfect and may do bad things, but its even worse when you know about it and do it. Its not about being a religious person, its about knowing whats right and whats wrong. If you know something is wrong and against your religion then why do it?

Sex before marriage is a joke, sex for procreation is a joke, but I respect who can hold off. Like Karma said, not everybody is a die hard fanatic like you. I never said killing people was ok, I was simply quoting the Bible. If you want me to get the verses, I'll find them so you can look them up.

Die hard fanatic? What does that have to do with anything? Answer my questions to make it simple

    1) Is getting tattoos a sin in your religion
    2) Are you aware that you will be commiting sin by doing so
    3) If you know that then why are you getting them?

You basically said all I need to know to get into Heaven is to believe in God. That is false, there are many other things that you have to do I believe to go to heaven. Like I said before, what if a person commits a lot of sins in their entire life, you think they can go to heaven if they believe in God?

I just came to the realization that I am older than Kevin Durant.

And on tattoos, if a religion tells you not to get a tattoo, I find it very hard to take that religion seriously. I think that most religion nowadays is just people taking core beliefs and becoming fanatical about them.

I don't really see how getting a tattoo is that big of a friggin deal. Even if it is against the religion, do you really expect a person to uphold every single thing the religion requires of you? In the end, it's his choice.

This is the problem with religion, people just tend to look too deeply into it. I think everyone should believe in a higher power and believe in something beyond what we can comprehend but some people base thier lives entirely on something written in scripture thousands of years ago without looking at it from a broader scope. I'm not against the Muslim religion by any means, but what is the point of burying women under burqas?

Actually, no I wasn't. I finished responding to you and said "ON ANOTHER NOTE" and decided to post my random thought, which is, if you haven't noticed, what this thread is about.

    <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">

It's against his religion yes, but it's not wrong to the extent that you're making it out to be. If he was killing someone than okay, I get your point, but the guy is getting a tattoo because he wants to, how hard is that to understand? I don't think Mamba believes in religion to the point that he thinks getting a tattoo will in any way affect his life after death. If that's his belief, then so be it. Why do you care?

I'm against that also. I understand why they wear Hijabs, but burqas is taking it over the limit. I don't even know anyone that wears that. I don't even think there is anything about burqas in the Holy Qur'an.

He didn't back off - he two pieced Kobe and dodged that ridiculously weak punch Kobe threw. After that everyone broke it up. It's not like he went 'Melo... he hit him twice and got him a third time too. Don't blame Chirs Childs, blame Kobe's hand skills (or lack thereof).
