That's where i find your religion flawed, no offense to any Muslim in here. You know it is virtually impossible to live by a holy book word for word. When you talk about how hot girls are, that's lusting for them. That's a sin, right? Yeah, I don't think your God would like that....according to you. Every time you think a cuss word, it's a sin. Every time you do something wrong, it's a sin. So, you're not on the right path, are you? You're a die hard religious fanatic, you need to understand the overall message, not the word for word message.

Honestly, this is one of the best RT conversations, ever.

I'm being serious, what is so wrong with sex before marriage, or sex for fun? Last time I checked, the Bible and most holy books say sex is for one reason...child birth. If it's for that reason, why the hell would it feel so good and be so available?

You are supposed to try your best from staying away from bad things. Small things like cussing and saying some girl is hot are things that can't be held off. Sex/alcohol/tattoos and crap which you know are wrong can be real easy to hold off.

BTW, I dont want anyone to think of Islam as a bad religion. If you want more information, get a copy of a translated Quran.

I actually agree with Umair on some stuff he says, I don't think you can mix science/religion. I have never been a big fan of "science" people are always looking for a way to explain what they don't understand/can't comprehend. With all these medical advancements, etc. how many times do you hear stories about situations where doctors had given up on someone only to have them make a miraculous recovery.

Life is about making choices, and living with the consequences, that's why god gave us free will. Although, some may consider tattoos a "sin" I doubt any of those people consider it a damning one which will send you to hell.

On a side note the bible never mentions specific references to tattoos, it just says you should treat your body as your temple, so if you don't feel its disrespecting your body, than there is no real problem.

<div class="quote_poster">Voodoo Child Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Your faith is rooted in fear. You were brought up by your parents and your culture to believe a certain way, and it's so deeply implanted into your subconscious, that you're afraid to question it. Therefore, you rely on bullshit explanations like, "faith."

The sad thing is, if you were born to white Anglo-Saxon parents, then you'd probably be an radical right-wing Christian. You're a product of your environment and not your own independent thought, Umair.

On that note, if you could get *****, you'd submit to it. It's not a matter of choice but a matter of availability. That's becoming increasingly clear.</div>

    Brilliant post, agree 110%.

<div class="quote_poster">Umair Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">So getting drunk/partying/sex is the only fun in life? Is that all to life? You don't believe in Heaven/Hell so obviously you don't know that that's the real life. You work in this life to get there.</div>

I'm not saying you need to get drunk or high to enjoy life, what I'm saying is, thats apart of life, its somthing that you should experience, if only once.

Let me ask you this then Umair, why are you alive? Please dont take this the wrong way, but I mean seriously, considering you are simply living your life to die, wouldnt it be alot easier to go to this supposed life you are living to live than risking it all by possibly commiting "sins" and downplaying your chances?

Thats a fair question dont you think?

I am not expecting like you said to make people believe what I belief. I am just stating what I believe. Not that its gonna change anything, but its that I want to clarify things I believe. If you are annoyed by people debating on something, I suggest you dont read it. After all, its the random though thread, so whatever the ***** you want damn it.

LOL, how the hell are tattoos a bad thing? Is somebody going to die because I'm getting one? Is somebody going to rape someone because I'm getting one? Please dude, don't get me started on this crap, again. Like I said, if God doesn't want me in Heaven because of a tattoo, I don't want to be there. It's a minor thing, like lusting for a girl.

So, LOL, when girls start throwing themselves at you...are you going to resist them?

WTF do you think this is, some thread where you can just come in and post anything you want? Religious debate and/or Umair bashing only, all other discussion is prohibited.

I do agree with Umair's point from the root of this whole fiasco, if you're "religious" then follow the f*cking religion, if you don't follow the rules then don't claim it. Common sense or just the way we were raised tells us that killing a man is worse than cheating on your wife, getting a tattoo, or having pre-marital sex but theres no legal system in religion; if you broke these laws then its a sin, doesn't matter whether you killed someone or ****** someone you get the same punishment theoretically.

Granted, as humans we're all inevitably going to break these rules, thus why god is so forgiving, but blatantly and knowingly disobeying the laws of the religion hundreds of times is ridiculous. If you think some of rules are stupid then its probably not the religion for you. If you do accept a religion then you should probably at least make a half assed effort to accept all of the rules and obey them rather than just picking and choosing which ones you think you should obey.

Great point, Blur! The Bible says treat your body as your temple. Some temples are decorated, I like to think of tattoos as my decoration.

Well if you are a religious person, in reality life is a test, everyone has been put here for a bigger purpose. No matter how small a detail you perform your affecting someones life with your actions on a daily basis, and it all adds up in the long run. Life is essentially a trial run to see who deserves to ascend to heaven after their time on earth is over.

Umair the thing I feel you are doing wrong in this thread is your trying to be a religious radical. Its like those people who come to your door with the pamphlets (they are real annoying). How many times in your life have you burst out in the spurt of the moment and said something like "god damn it" technically that is a sin as well since you are using the lords name in vain. No one, other than new born children, are pure of sin in this world thats why God is forgiving, that's why we have confessionals.

    1. In short I don't believe getting a tattoo is a sin.

    2. Even if it was god isn't going to turn his back on you because you have one.

I think this whole thing can be wrapped up on what Blur stated.

Umair it is pointless "debating" about religion when it will just end up in stalemate because you are strict to your belief, and there is not a problem wit that.

    Time to fall back.

I wouldn't say it hurt it was just a pain that was constant, especially filling it in. I now know what suicidal teen girls feel like though lol.
