<div class="quote_poster">Smitty Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">I need to shape my beard up..trying to get that chin strap type thing going.</div>

I've had a chin strap for about five years now. You can see that in the Members section. I just keep reshaping the hair on the chin from long to short depending on how I feel. I used to have one of those rocker chin straps going where the hair reaches your chest. I don't think I could do that anymore. Just not in my interest. That was back around 16/17 when I still painted my nails black and was in a heavy metal band. [IMG]

Funny how I grew up going from listening to rap to covering old Mega Man songs from the Nintendo console games to heavy metal and then now. Just a massive difference. I'm where I have to be now, but thinking back, all that influence from different directions must've been what set me off.

I don't know if you guys have ever heard of Gary Ridgway "The Green River Killer" but he's the most prolific serial killer in US history I believe. He was raised, lived in, and killed alot of his victims in my town and just got arrested not too long ago.

Anyways, today when I was doing community service we ran into this memorial in the woods which was just a cement slab with a poem written in it with a couple pots of flowers by it and the supervisor of my group said that it was the site one of his victim's body was found at. It was pretty nuts, i've never been at the site a murdered person was dumped at... especially one linked to a serial killer. But yea it was crazy.

Here's stuff about Ridgway if you haven't heard of him... I know some of you are into reading about serial killers.

I had to shave my 5'0 Clock shadow for my job interview. Not impressed. The guy also told me I have to be clean shaven for the job, and I'm seriously considering not taking the job if he offers it to me based on that purpose alone.

Too many people obsess over rookies. I'm not talking about the sure-thing instant impact players like Oden, Durant, James, and Yao. I'm talking about the role players like Corey Brewer.

It's one thing to be a collegiate fan and like these guys, but what's with everyone always jumping on the bandwagon of these middle-of-the-road future role players and touting them as being better than they actually are?

Okay, I get it that you're excited to have a new player on your team, but he's probably not going to change your franchise, and he probably won't even start until a few years from now.

Example, Rashad McCants. I remember a lot of people all over his nuts a few years ago when he was drafted, making sigs and wallpapers of the guy. Fastforward to the present, and I'm sure most teams would rather have Troy Hudson and Trenton Hassell than McCants.

don't worry about that part. I had the same problem. But common its summer, just shave it off. I mean no one is going to see you in the summer.

I got to get up early tomorrow. Gotta re-new my military ID and I have a doctor's appointment later that morning. And hopefully after that I'll get to chill for the day. I hate getting up early..I'm really not a morning person anymore.

Totally dude. ALTHOUGH I think Brewer will be a decent starter in the league. Doubt he's a future all-star, but a solid starter

Why would no one see you in the summer? Are you a shut-in?

Anyway, this board is getting so young it scares me. 14, 15, and 16 year old kids have taken over.

I dunno if I agree with you there bro. I've seen the pictures that NTC posted, and he's right, the shadow/beard definitely works for him. I can see where he'd look a lot younger without it.

So when you're not getting shot at at your job, you're enlisting in the military. Do you have a death wish or something, man? There are other options out there.

I guess, I just know when I shave whatever i got going on, whatever girl i'm with is like "you SHAVED!" and starts kissing me and stuff. plus i read somewhere that 80% of women prefer a clean shaven face. mighta been Cosmo or GQ one of those...

No, no. He was scared to let people see his new look, so I was saying that you won't see many of your friends and since its summer it was the right time to shave.

Umair, do you not hang out with your friends? Do you not have friends? In the summer, you usually see your friends more.

That's uncharted territory for me, but I've been on and off with my ex since I was a kid. We've been through a lot of difference scenarios where one of us is dating someone the other one doesn't like, and it's painful. If you still have any feelings for your ex, it'd probably be in her best interests to stay away from her cousin. (I say 'probably' and not 'definitely', because I'm just generalizing, I have no idea what this girl's sensitivities are actually like.)

Actually, I wasn't going to talk about this on the boards, but since we're on the subject, I got in a huge fight with my ex's boyfriend last night. He's one of these Chamillionaire looking dudes who thinks because he wears a do-rag and braids his hair it makes him a hardass, even though the guy sits at home all day playing video games while everyone else is out working or getting exercise. That in itself has always pissed me off, but then he started grabbing on my ex while I was in the room and talking sh-t, so I wound up beating his ass. I'm 6'7" and work out, so I beat him pretty badly, but that's beside the point. My ex freaked out and kicked me out of the house, said she wanted nothing to do with me ever again, but then she called me up at like 2 AM last night apologizing and telling me she wanted me back. Now I'm just worried that he's going to come after me with his friends though. He's in with the Crips, and I've already pissed a lot of them off in the past. I'm constantly looking over my shoulder now. They're all spineless fucks who'll come at you with like ten of their boys while you're alone and jump you.

What that was sooo stupid. You so your friends mostly in school. You don't see many in summer. I mean I have around 15 friends that I usually see in the summer that go to my school, but I have tons more friends that I see in school.
