He bought a 2.5 millon dollar house on 1.5 arces in North Carolina. i believe his daughter goes to N.C. State as well. I don't think he'd coach for another team except the Steelers. For sure he'd take a couple years off. Maybe he could come back in the future like Joe Gibbs did with the Redskins.
He has two years left on his contract, he already explained his side of the Bettis story and the Steelers simply said that they will not negotiate any contract extension until after the season. He will be with the Steelers for as long as he wants to Coach, it has nothing to do with the Steelers"getting rid of him" as was earlier stated. Also he would never take a few years off and return, If the Steelers are forced to replace him I would imagine it will be someone from the system and it would end up being another long term coaching stint. Again this is all in Cowher's court, he will be the Steelers coach for as long as he wants the job.
Yeah Iv'e heard LeBeau's name mentioned as a potential replacement, for the steelers sake they had hope that doesn't happen! LeaBeau=Good D C, Bad Head Coach
