lol. Neither am I because I wasn't even aware they were using it as Internet slang. I figured it had something to do with "**** the world." [IMG]

For those of us not into the Internet slang, here's a list.

Toronto humidity is like a punch in the face, every time you step outside. I've kinda gotten used to it, but it took some relatives coming over to remind me how bad it can get it if you don't live here.

Yeah I've been to Florida and Texas during the summer and its horrible. Once you step outside it feels like you're going slow motion becuase the heat/humidity won't allow you to move faster.

Glad i live right on the coast in Northern California. We get gigantic beds of fog rolling in every night, its quite nice. [IMG]

I yearn for heat and good weather. This summer has been one of the worst ever over here. The last few summers were hotter than ever though, so I guess the tide has to change some time.

Interesting day at work today. The night staff at my factory (Kellogs products) apperently had a knife missing, and it was supposedly in either the cardboard piles or perhaps in the products. The supervisors were panicking because if it wasn't in the garbage piles, that means they'd have to search through the products. Anyway, from 10 o clock till 3 o clock, me and this supervisor had to search through cardboard and what not searching for a bloody knife (not literally bloody, I'm using the phrase).

What's stupid about it is that I said from the beginning that the knife would either turn up somewhere else (NOT in the products or cardboard), probably somewhere on the main factory floor or perhaps in the custody of one of the employees. Nevertheless, we had to search (we weren't even really searching, the supervisor was jokes so he did everything quite lazily) through the piles. When we got to the 2nd pile (this was at 3 o clock), one of the other supervisors came and told us they found the knife. Needless to say, I was convinced that the management is full of idiots; the knife was there the whole time, they just miscounted the amount of knives [IMG]

On the other hand, I was glad I got to do that because the cardboard was in a completely remote area where no other supervisors came and I could take my sweet time doing everything. Basically, I ended up doing nothing but throwing cardboard in a compressor at the slowest pace possible. The supervisor started talking to me and apperently he just came from Cuba a year ago so he started to tell me stories about Cuba. He was very interesting to say the least.

He also constantly put me in an awkward position because his accent was so thick that I couldn't understand anything he was saying some of the time, but yet I had to keep on nodding (and sometimes smiling). At the beggining I kept saying "pardon", but I still wouldn't understand when he'd repeat whatever it was he said so after a while I just gave up. That's probably one of the more awkward parts of my life, when you talk to someone and they either mumble, you don't understand them, or you don't hear them and they start laughing and you're stuck thier trying to figure out what they just said.

Edit: I think it's like 40 degrees today in the GTA with the humidex. Whoever thinks that Canada is always a cold place needs to come to Toronto right about now. I had to wait for the bus for 20 minutes today, and I was literally sweating through my shirt. This was right after work too, so the shower I took when I came home was the best feeling in the world.

Yea, I wanted to go play ball, and my parents asked if I enjoyed living. I assumed they ment if I went outside I would get heat stroke because I don't wear hats or sun screen. I just put that dab on my nose and I don't rub it in[IMG].
