(damn, I accidentaly closed the window) I got pulled into work today at short notice, basically what I have to do is to scrape moist off a ceiling in a storage facility, and remove fluids from the floor with some electronical equipment. Because the window closed I won't describe why unless someone asks (although I bet you all really want to know. Anyway, the good news is that I will be paid about 25.31 to 29.77 dollars an hour.

I think I had phone sex with some girl last night too, so today should be awkward.</div> Work is starting to get better. 2 days ago, I had to work with the bitchiest supervisor I had EVER seen in my life and I seriously felt like knocking her out. It's weird, I can get the feeling when someone doesn't like me, and this lady certainly gave off that vibe. Usually with people at work, I'll generally make small talk, even with the supervisors and move on from there, but this bitch would just frown if I even tried talking to her. Fucking fat slut. Almost everyone there hates her, and now I know why. I seriously never saw her smile ONCE during the entire 8 hours and she always sounded/looked like she was PMSing. On top of that, she had a trinny accent to the point that I couldn't understand a single word coming out of her mouth, so I'd have to ask her to repeat what she said and she'd start yelling in her fuckin accent, and mumbling to herself while looking like she's about to take a ****. God, I hate people like that. And yeah, I ended up talking to the girl. Turns out she's actually a couple of years older than me. I struck up a conversation for a while and some old lady came and started talking to her, so I just chilled for a while and the girl came back up to me and asked what school I went to or w.e. When I told her I'm just starting Uni, she had a really surprised (I like to call it the disappointment look ) look on her face. She thought I was her age, and I thought she was my age. Pretty cool girl though, I actually ended up talking to her for longer than I expected. Anywayyy, tommorow's saturday and I'm off to party, should be funn. 3 weeks left till I move out, pretty exciting.

Yesterday I went to a Primerica presentation about how the middle class struggle. Basically they were telling me things I already knew - interest in the bank increases at 1-2%, CD's at 6%. Then they were talking about the rule of 72, which I already knew, and everyone was like "oooooh, awwww". Afterwards, they were talking about how to make money and how most of America is swimming in debt. Now this guy is trying to recruit me to this company and if I recruit other people I'll get paid based on their performance. It's kinda like a pyramid, but it's legal - it's called "multi-level marketing". Basically, I have to pay $99 for a license to sell people Primerica's life insurance, and other services. I am a bit skeptic on this, but it's run by Citibank, which is of course legit. I'm just not good at recruiting and most people I know are around my age and don't have any financial issues being so young and all.

MrJ if you're interested in business try to get a job at a bank or intern at a financial institution like Charles Schwab. Don't waste your time with these get rich quick b.s.

Dang I haven't been posting in this thread for a while. School in less than 3 weeks and then I will be a little busy from then on. But yeah, still gotta get my clothes, shoes, etc. Rush Hour 3 is gonna be tight.
Does anybody else think that Yao still can't speak English clearly? He knows what to say and everything, but he rushes the hell out of his sentences and just makes it hard to understand what he's saying.

Haha, "multi-level marketing." Yeah, that's definitely a pyramid scheme. I love rediscovering old music I forgot about. Not necessarily music that's a couple of years old, although that's good too, but music that's just a few months old that I've already forgotten about, like the new stuff from Satellite Party. I love the lyrics in 'Wish Upon a Dog Star' - "I am heaven in the spirit of the sun... I'll meet you when the day breaks through... It's time to shine and make all your dreams come true." It doesn't look as great on paper as I thought it would, but I like the way it sounds when he sings it. Today was a long day. The days keep getting longer as the summer goes on. Ten bucks says Friday is on some network tonight. They've been playing the hell out of that movie lately, but hey, can't complain. I've seen it three or four times since they started rerunning it.
<div class="quote_poster">shapecity Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Octoberfest ?</div> Haha! If I were in M?nchen at the time, for sure. But I won't be actually, so I'll just break out the ol' stein. Life's going to get a lot easier and happier in those months. Which is good for JBB as well since basketball season starts around that time and I'll have more time to put out more quality articles. Also notice my quality in posts has gone down dramatically as well. This has been a problem for me over the last few months because of so much crap to do with the Visa, job hunting, etc. I almost considered removing myself from the Writing Team at one point because I haven't done much for it in a while and it seemed as though I wasn't going to be able to anytime soon. That has changed however and once October/November rolls around things will be different and better for me. My fianc?e will be coming back to the US for good in October, just not sure exactly when in October though. Anyway, we plan to marry on November 24, which will be exactly one year after I proposed to her in France. I won't be online for a few days once I'm married of course, but aside from that I'm sure I'll be feeling much more like my old self again with new ideas.
Wow, you've got a set date? I didn't realize. Congratulations! Is it going to be a big ceremony or just something small with a few friends and family? Those large scale weddings can be really stressful and take too much planning. October's an underrated time of year weather-wise as well. Maybe not so much up north, but it's kind of nice when everything chills down south and becomes a comfortable 65-70 degrees. I like having a little cold air when I'm out there playing basketball. It's strange I guess, but it's just always liked. On a basketball forum like this though, I'm sure most of you can relate.
