WTF kind of high schools are you going to where you have to use a laptop? What do you use it for? I can't see how it would come in handy all that much.

It was at my private Catholic school and ALL of our assignments were done on it. We had to email all of our assignments to our teachers. It was cool at first but I left because it was a horrible school and my parents hated it.

Well its a career and technological school, we have three different towers (Professional, Technology, Medical). You pick a tower and your electives are going to be based on your career pathway. For example, I picked Accounting so I am in Professional Tower. But we have textbooks, homework, class assigments on Laptop. They think its a distraction if you have other sites available. So yeah.

I go to a private catholic high school but we don't have lap tops. Kids would be fuggin around on those all day if we had them.

Yeah, that's why it was stupid. Everyone cheated on their tests and ****. I remember kids were even cheating on their exams because it was so easy too.

Wow, laptops in high school. I wish we had that.

    <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">
I had one removed about a month ago. Not much pain at all, and I could eat normally right away, althoug I waited a day because of the doctor's instructions. The worst part, in my opinion, was the cotton ball I had to keep in my mouth for three days or so. Really annoying having it there.
    </div>

I have to get mine removed as well. How long does the whole process take (taking them out?) And how long does it take to heal afterwards?

I had to get my teeth X-rayed a couple of days ago, and apperently they're coming in sideways/diagonally. I'll probably get them removed sometime soon.

    Edit:

Generally speaking, does anyone listen to anything else besides Hiphop and Rock in these forums? I know most of you probably do, but those two seem to be the most prevalent genres on here. Anybody open to genres such as Eurodance (gino beats for the Canadian guys haha)?

I've actually been listenin to it since I was a kid, because the radio stations in Toronto (mostly z103.5 but the old ones as well) usually play a lot of it over here. Of course, nowadays they play more hiphop/r&B, but back in the day it was all Eurodance. Anyway, if anyone wants to get into the genre, I reccomend the song Joee - Angel (Eurodance Mix). I guarantee you that you'll like the song if you like this kind of music. The melody is great, as are the lyrics (he wrote it for his cousin who died in a car crash at the age of 17, hence the lyrics), and it's not your typical "gino" or "techno-beat" track. BTW, techno and eurodance are two totally different genres.

^^ [IMG] [IMG] I love Donald Trump.

Edit: I used to record hiphop songs before with a group of my friends, and we used to perform at banquet parties and what not just for fun. It lasted a couple of years, but nowadays everyone is way too busy to be rapping (one of my friends actually ended up recording a professional album in my home country, and the other recently got a contract to produce in LA).

Anyway, I've been listening to some of our old songs, and I'd like to share a couple of collabo tracks we did with you guys if any of you are up for it. I was like 14, 15 when I recorded these songs, so my voice kinda sounds a little less mature than my friends' voices since they are around 3-4 years older, but nonetheless, I'd like to think I had good mic prescence.

I rarely listen to rap unless I'm forced to, because I can't stand it any more, it's so utterly dumb. For the last few days I've listened to a lot of native south american music (with pan pipes), Argentine cumbia (group called Rafaga, they're great), softer rock/pop with female vocalists, and some trance.

Speaking about rapping and our own material, I was wondering if you guys would be interested in the revival of the 'Post Your Lines' thread in the Hip-Hop forum. Sort of like a cypher to just rap about anything, but no battling. I know it was closed due to the possible battles, but I brought the topic up with Hunter recently and there's a possibility it would come back with some enforced rules.

I would... I never understood why we got rid of it in the first place. I don't even think it constitutes as a personal attack either since none of us take it personal. Besides, you really shouldn't take anything personally on the internet anyways.

Most people actually do sadly enough. However, time to get over the whole Rap battle thing because it isn't coming back as far as I know.

We aren't talking about rap battling though, just a thread where we could keystyle.

But no one on the site took anything personally, so that's the only thing that matters.

Honestly, what's the difference with battling and for someone to make a joke about Umair's porn 'stache?

That is a great point. Maybe there should be a poll to see what the rest of the members think. [IMG]

Well I was going to work today with my Wizards/Jordan jersey, and I ended up meeting Eddie Jordan's cousin, very surprising stuff.

I never argued against anything so don't ask me about it. I'm just making it clear that not everyone is going to take something as a joke because words online do not express true emotions and can be taken the wrong way. There may have not been any bad problems before, but you never know with future members, especially younger ones. That's likely the main reason behind the battles being banned from JBB.

Does anyone know where I can find either a 4XL or 5XL mens DC or Famous brand hoodie? I'm birthday shopping.
