Don't knock fish and chips - it rules! I start college soon (junior year of HS, age-wise) and I can't wait to be at the new school with better subjects. Could be awfull boring though.
I'm supposed to start September 2nd, but we have a teacher's strike. The teachers over here are really underpaid. They have a tough job, they work a lot of hours (at school+at home), it's a stressful job and they deserve more money for doing it. There was a strike near the end of the last school year too (missed around 14 days, not in a row), so they're serious about their demands. It's about time the government stopped being so cheap and started giving those people the money they deserve. Fish and chips is a great meal, haven't eaten it in a while though... In our league, we had a guy who was nearly 6'3 in 8TH GRADE. He was HUGE, and I had to guard him. Wasn't really talented though, he had a decent shot but no post moves. I even blocked him once (I was around 5'9, not much of a vertical back then so it was a big accomplishment).
I love blocking big guys. I'm 6'0 with a 23 standing leap, so when guys turn around, I jump full up and block their stuff out of bounds. I love it.

I wish I could block big guys. There's a 6'7 guy in my class, and I can only just reach the top of his head if I jump. Yet somehow I nearly won a jump ball against him...

My Dad keeps telling me that Russia is nice, but I hate the cold so I don't really want to go there. I know it's not all cold, but it's my stereotype. Have a good time man.

The whole stereotype thing is common, my friends were all like, "why are you going there, isn't it snowing?" Thanks, hopefully everything will go smoothly.

The old lady with an older lady inside of her, I don't remeber what they are called...Nesting Dolls, those would be cool. Or maybe a USSR shirt, that says CCCP. Have a good trip though.

Everyone's feelings are different.</div> Of course I agree it is different to everyone, but that's not what I wrote about. Love isn't something that is thrown around from person to person. Once it hits you, you don't lose it. You can also always believe you love someone, but it could actually be obsession or one of many other things. Believe me though, as young teens nobody understands. They can always argue about it, but that's typical of the young heart and mind. I love Psychology. lol Anyway, I'm not insulting anyone.
I was watching the 1996 Dream-Team vs. the Collegiate USA Select Team (22 and under) game from 1996 on NBA TV and it was a great game. The Dream Team was losing by 17 points (!!) at one point, and in the 2nd half they COMPLETELY shut down the college players and took over the game. The thing that stood out for me was the fact that Tim Duncan kept getting rejected everytime he went to the rim by The Dream (Hakeem). Hakeem pretty much blocked everyone who went to the rim as far as I saw...and not only that, he altered a shitload of shots as well. It was wierd seeing some of the talent on the select team. Chancey Billups was the back-up guard to Brevin Knight. Anthony Parker was on the team as well, as was Paul Pierce, Austin Croshere and Brian Skinner. The best player from that in the game was Shea Seals, of whom I've actually never heard of. He was shooting the lights out though. When the Dream Team was down 17, it was because of Gary Payton, Scottie Pippen and Hakeem that they crawled back into the game. Payton was making the defense stops needed and doing a good job of initiating the offense. It's amazing how much his defensive game has fallen off now, because in that game he had over 5 great defensive plays just in the couple of minutes of the second half as DT started its comeback.
