<div class="quote_poster">Mamba Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">I forgot how sick Bitch Please II is</div> I love Eminem's verse on that. I was listenin to Throwback by Royce the other day after I saw you post about it somewhere (I think in this thread), and I forgot how much I used to love that track. "I'm too vicious for him, too vicious for you" <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> Loyal to the Game was alright, i bump the album sometimes but i prefer the original tracks. </div> I hated it when it came out, but some of the tracks grew on me. The Eminem produced tracks are still pretty bad though, because he had to slow Pac's vocals slow down or speed up to match his beat, which is stupid IMO. The songs produced by DJ Quik and Scott Storch actually resmble a beat 'Pac would probably rap on. The ones that Eminem used (see "Thug 4 Life") don't sound anything westcoast or even remotely what 'Pac would have probably rapped on. Obviously I can't speak for him, but I'm basing it on having listened to pretty much every single Tupac track out there. Thug For Life sounds more like a theme song for Alladin than a 2Pac beat. Pac's rapping in that album is great though. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> Didn't Pac say he wanted all his unreleased material to be put out if he died? </div> I'm not sure; the dude worked like a madman so he probably did, but not in the way that they've released them I would assume. They put him with artists he did not like (Nas), and cut and paste his verses as they please. They also alter his original verses and make him namedrop people (see Tupac name dropping Trick Daddy on Better Dayz and Eminem on LTTG). <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Karma thats a bad call saying his own mom has little respect for him....after what hip hop did to her son she deserves whatever money she is making off his music now. </div> What hip-hop did to her son? That makes no sense. 'Pac himself knew he was headed for death with the lifestyle he was living. Hiphop is what brought him to the limelight, yet it was a double edged sword because it got him into even more trouble. He chose the way that he lived, so why are you blaming a genre of music for his death? He chose to say all the **** he said, he chose to promote Thug Life, he chose to stomp out Orlando Anderson, he chose to scream "Westside"; his death has less to do with hiphop and more to do with his own mistakes.
Do any of you hip hop heads have any Royce cd's that you can transfer to me? I deleted a lot of them a while back. Karma, Throw Back is a sick ass song. I love Boom, too. He's got some ill lines in there I'm the verbal-spit Smith Wesson I unload with sick spit the quick wick could split a split-second Bomb with a lit wick expression You here a tick tick then you testin.. My saliva and spit can split thread into fiber and bits So trust me, I'm as live as it gets Everybody claimin they the best and head the throne Since B.I.G is gone, if you ask me, they +Dead Wrong+ Rap now is a circus of clowns A whole lot of lip from cliques I'd probably rap circles around I'm the next best to reach a peak formerly known as the best keep secret, I guess that I just leaked it
I got a nice idea for the keystyling thing, already sent it Chutney's way, if any of you other keystylers wanna hear about it, PM me.
**** it........hip hop is dead....................... the flavor is gone and so is the freshness........my advice to anyone wanting to be a rapper is like what scarface said a few years back "don't get in the game"......let it die off, it had it's days and now it's done......I'm sorry I'm in a bad mood but I just got back from one of my homies shows and although they did their thing on stage there wasn't that "it" factor that seperated them from anyone else rapping right now......my boys are talented MCs and lyricists, but it takes so much more than that to truely be "that" dude.......I'm done with hip hop.....I'll still check for new albums and new artists if I feel they're worth my money, but for the most part I'm gonna listen to my old ****, go collect more old **** and branch my taste out into other musical genres that I missed out on in my life time.............I hate it when people say it, because most of the time they have no fucking idea what they're talking about and they just hop on the bandwagon.....but **** it.........HIP HOP IS DEAD!
Man I have to write an essay right now and JBB is distracting me. I keep checking for new posts. Dang my essay is soooo boring.

Is there anything this guy CANT do???
Anyways, thing I found out about my school laptop is that you can message people in your classes and you have something like AIM on there. Its like a chat with people in your class. Today we had a substitute, we all had our laptops on and were in the chat, we were all cheating on the quiz.

Royce Da 5'9 biggest flaw is production, he raps over some of the most poorly produced **** I've ever heard. "Im The King" and that song he did with Premo (I forget the name) are about the only tight ones I can think of.
Wow Chutney, thanks for putting me on P.Monche. He's a crazy lyricist. My favorite tracks so far are The Ass, Simon Says, and The Truth. Been bumping some Outkast for the first time too. ATLiens is a dope album.

Yea, Organized Konfusion is definitely worth checking out once you've listened to all his solo stuff. I was the same way when I first started listening to him too. It's a shame he doesn't get enough recognition. Anybody catch the Roast of Flavor Flav on Comedy Central a couple days ago? I officially heard the first Chris Benoit joke, courtesy of Jimmy Kimmel.
I think I have to delete Big Pun off my MP3 player, I almost broke into hysterics on the bus today while listening to "Still Not A Player", specifically this line: <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">My my, I'm big huh, I rip my (prick) through your hooters I'm sick, you couldn't measure my (dick) with six rulers</div>
