that's tough to debate. kobe and lebron are two pretty different players. who knows if kobe would have gelled with the other cavs playrs, and who knows how cleveland's team defense would have been with kobe there instead of lebron.</p>

also, lebron is a better rebounder, and racks up more assists, and his 6-8 250 lb frame is very different from kobe, and gives him much more versatility...so the whole cleveland gameplan would've probably been different with kobe there instead.</p>

also, kobe isn't that good vs. the nets(20 ppg, 32% fg, but 10.5 apg in 2 games, about 40mpg) or detroit(18.5 ppg, 42% fg in 2 games, about 40 mpg), so who knows if he would've even made it past either of them.</p>

talk about your interests: basketball, girls.</p>

and what you wanna be when you get older, what your major in college is going to be, what kind of job you want.</p>

talk about your family, your lifestyle, the food you like, the people you're friends with.</p>

personally, i like to include basketball in my papers alot, so in speech class, i'd talk alot about basketball: my favorite teams, when i go to see them play, how i play basketball, who i play basketball with, how long i've been playing basketball, what i've participated in with basketball, what famous basketball players i've met....etc.</p>

Man my senior project is starting to shape up. I found somebody who I think is going to be my mentor. He uses FL Studio (which is what A LOT of people in the oversaturated field of beat making use) and he does a good job at getting away from the stock software sound. On top of that, my uncle, who is middle aged now, actually had a record deal singing when he was younger...it never came together but he can get me in the studio to watch producer and egineers to. </p>

I'm really considering going into the record business, either artisticly (hey it won't hurt trying), and if not artisticly than hopefully from the business standpoint. Hopefully my academics can back me up. </p></div>

Good luck man, its a hard industry to get into, like you said, every man and his dog is producing beats these days, so there is ALOT of stiff competition out there. I still need to learn the ropes of FL and Ableton Live, although I just havent been bothered, I really need some one to teach me first hand, not try and work it out myself like I did with Photoshop. I might see if I can have a play around with my mates setup, as he's got all the proper equipment and everything.</p>

Man, the more I use sports2 the more I like it. My favorite thing is that it takes you directly to the last post you read/submitted when you click on a thread. That's gonna save me a lot of time since I use to reread a couple posts until I found the last post I read. I miss JBB's clean layout, but all these new features more than make up for it.</p>

That Graduation CD by Kanye has a lot of good tracks on it.. I downloaded the 50 cd along with it last week, andthe 50 cd sucked. 50 fell off, every track on Get Rich or Die Trying was good,The Massacrewas mediocre at best, and Curtis is trash.Does anyone know the sales of the two CDs? I wonder if 50 is gonna have to quit making CDs...maybe he will start making better CDs when his contract is up.</p>

Well Quadruple poster, what are you trying to say about defense? The only thing I learned about you in your last post is that you must have not seen the Lakers last year. LeBron isn't a better defender than Kobe, nor was he the reason they were fourth in defensive efficiency.</p>

You're talking about a small sample size of games, don't even bring up pointless information like that. </p>

Kobe excels in the more important categories in offense. Go to wikipedia.org and look up PER. Kobe's Rebound rate is comparable enough to LeBron's, and Bryant is an underrated passer. Kobe blew away LeBron last year in efficiency despite being injured the first half of the season. He's easily the more valuable offensive player.</p>

i don't think you understand...i'm talking about team defense. whether he's better or not, lebron has the ability to guard more positions than kobe, and that may become important when a big, quick player or a shooter such as mikki moore or rasheed wallace starts shooting outside shots, and you want to put someone quicker on him without losing too much size.</p>

the two opponents they had to get past after the injury-plagued wizards were the nets and the pistons, and it's a fact that kobe underacheived against those teams. </p>

Tell me, who is going to pick up for the loss in scoring on that Cavs team if kobe isn't producing 30-40 ppg every game in those series? you saw what happened to the cavs when lebron was held in check, what makes you think that wouldn't happen to the cavs with kobe, if kobe is held in check? especially if it's against two teams that have proven they can limit kobe..? </p>

The fact that we're even arguing about this is a joke. The Cavs have some very nice front court players. </p>

He can guard more positions, but at a high level? Only Big Men affect team defense, wing players like LeBron are not the reason teams succeed in defense. You're just hyping things up now. </p>

Wizards? I didn't see those stats. Two games is not an appropriate sample size, but even if it was, you haven't provided a complete picture. I don't see Ball possessions, or TS% and such. Your information is meaningless, the playoffs are different as well. </p>
