Oohhh, nice diss.

I'll probably still be active, I just get real busy with school/personal-stuff sometimes. I'll definitely post more on Sundays though (gotta talk smalk with the other NFL people). When the NBA season starts up again, I'll also have more fun around here.

[RANT] Man, I love philosophy but you find some of the most annoying students in those classes. If you get a prof that hesitates to put down people's arguments, it almost always gets out of control. Then you're left listening to pompous 3rd year jackasses object to every single insignificant point like they're the 2nd coming of Plato or something. I just feel like whacking them upside the head with my Ancient Philosophy textbook so that they'll let the prof actually explain the material. I don't pay a ridiculous amount of money to listen to an asshat who doesn't understand what he's talking about, because he doesn't know when to shut up. [/RANT]

EDIT: Why is my post in italics? I didn't set it to that.

Philosophy is so boring and tedious, I'd much rather be in a Calculus or Physics class.

We're polar opposites, man. I could never focus on math/physics, because it was so rigid and formulaic. I prefer to think about a subject and develop an opinion about it.

I think if anyone puts in the right amount of effort in math/physics, it is overall an easier course because of how formulaic it is. It is rough at first, but so easy later on. That's why I'll be an engineer.

I agree with Chutney. I find Math and Physics classes so boring but I can focus and find Philosophy really interesting.

I could do math and physics if I spent a lot of time memorizing and understanding the formulas. I just didn't find it interesting. Humanities courses allow me to debate and formulate arguments (something I already do a lot on these forums and in my everyday life).
