Alright in the black/white striped shirt. I really like the pink streak in her hair. That one outfit, with the hat, is downright dreaful. Matthew Rolston directed this. Still trying to figure out why people keep hiring him. All of his work is terrible. I understand this was targeted for a Japanese audience primarily, but that doesn't change the fact that its a horrible video. Horrible, just like his other recent work, "Candyman" and "I Belong to Me". The guy is a talentless hack....but considering this was a music video intended for Japan, he is probably just considered a low budget director. Marc Klasfeld did a much better job with the "When You're Gone" video, that one was very well done. He's the same guy that did the "Nolita Fairytale" and "Hip Hop Police" videos recently. He actually has talent, unlike Rolston.</p> Not sure so much on the single choice. Innocence, which is getting heavy play time on the radio, should have been in the pecking order for singles before Hot. Otherwise, if she wanted to go for a fastpace song, she should have done Runaway. Runaway and Innocence were the two favorites for the fan selected single anyhow. Hot's not that popular.</p> </p>

If you like Avril's CD, definitely get her last albums, they're very good. Let Go has so many great songs on it, Complicated, Sk8er Bo1, Tommorow, Anything but Ordinary, Things I'll Never Say, In My World, Nobody's Fool...then on Under My Skin, with Don't Tell Me, How Does It Feel, My Happy Ending, Nobody's Home, Fall to Pieces, Freak Out...so many great Avril songs.</p> I made a playlist with my favorite Avril songs. Now I won't try to make the claim that I follow her work, but I do know that she broke into the scene as the anti-establishment, anti-pop star; the yin to Britney's yang. Now look at her, singing about boys and sh**. Oh and GOD HELP ANYONE that catches a glimpse of what she looks like without make up. I mean this video is so over the top that's gotta raise some red flags and question the reality of it. Furthermore, it really says something when your signature look is distinctive amounts of make up.</p>
