I just got it VF, I guess patience is a virtue after all....

i still didnt get one, and i registyered a few hours ago.

i tried to sign up again, and it said im already in the books, so does that mean i dont get an email?

 

Did you check your spam box? Gmail has a pretty aggressive spam filter...

 

can people sign up now (6 45) and be counted in the point total? And also are you gonna have standings or are the points going to be kept secret?

 

Points will be kept secret, but I'll be giving you guys hints on occassion as to how the competition is going.

People can sign up all throughout the competition...

A friend of mine tried registering last night, but she says she kept getting an error message regarding her user id? She says she tried several different ones.

 

What was the error, do you know?

Is it at all possible to see how we're doing. Like weekly standings or something.

 

I'll be sending update emails that will go into some of this - but there won't be detailed standings given (I don't want anyone giving up).

One of the reasons I don't want to post detailed standings is that if someone sees that they are really far behind, they may decide its not worth continuing on in the competition. The fact is, though, things can literally change within a day. You may refer just one person who ends up making 200 posts in their first two weeks - we've had it happen before. That could easily change the landscape of the competition...

 

What counts as a quality post? Just wondering because we just had someone get referred over and post nothing but spam in every topic he posted in.
