with much of the media saying that brady quin will win the hiesman trophy and maybe even be the no.1 pick. my vote would be for adrian petterson but who do you think will be the no.1 pick next year

I think it really depends on a need for the team with the worst record.. I mean look at this year Houston Took williams instead of who everyone thought.. i really think its all about need here.. all in all i am going to have to say Peterson aswell... I love quinn seeing as i am a ND fan.. but i think peterson will go #1

RB's rarely go #1 overall. Bush was the best back coming out in many years & he didn't even go #1.

Quinn will go #1. If a team like houston get's it then UW's Joe Thomas has an outside shot at going #1 as well. Most likely if a team that doesn't need a QB gets the pick, then they trade down.

I think Buffalo finishes with the worse record and they take Quinn in a heartbeat.

Gaines Adams is also highly rated heading into this season. He's no Mario but has a lot of raw skills.

The bills will finish worst and pick Brady Quinn, the jets will have the 2nd worst and pick Adrian Peterson, and 49ers i think where ever they land will get Micheal Bush to have a two headed rushing attack.

That pick makes no sense IMO when boofalu already has a future HOF'er in JP Losman. You just can't go wrong w/ a Tulane QB or my name isn't Shaun King. No wait! Its Patrick Ramsey. I'm confused. ROFL.

The current management didn't draft JP so JP is on a short leash.

Hi guys...new to the forum...thanks Porky for recommending it to me...

Anyway, back on topic...Personally I think San Francisco is doomed to have the worst record this season, I believe Porky will agree with me too. In that case, the 1st pick would be Adrian Peterson or, if Frank Gore has a good enough season, which I'm not counting on, Joe Thomas could be their 1st pick as well.

I'm sure there was more than one....I think you upset me on one board cause you picked Eric Winston in the 1st round for the Cowboys in a mock draft we were doing. I hated that pick. :P

I know Miami is everyone's sleeper pick, but I think they've got the talent to win their division.

I think Quinn from ND or Smith from Ohio St. will be #1 in the draft but in a few years watch out for Micheal Bush.

Miami doesn't need to win in game 1 to live up to any of the hype. The 1st week in the NFL doesn't make or break anyone's season. In 2003, New England had just cut Lawyer Milloy and Buffalo promptly picked him up. Buffalo then blew out New England 31-10 in week 1. I remember several people, writer included, jumping on Buffalo's bandwagon. New England went on to be 14-2 and beat Carolina in the Super Bowl. Buffalo finished 6-10...so much for week 1.
