o.aitl if you're not at a time of your life where you're ready to maturely focus yourself on academics and learning, I would recommend you spend two years at a community college, build a solid GPA while working for your desired major, and then transfer to LSU.

First day of the new term , and man was it a bore. Christ, it felt like the day would never end. My new teachers are okay, but I no longer have lunch 8th period, which means I can't leave 45 mins early.

It's been one day and I can't wait for the next vacation.

Speaking of GPA's, I currently have a 3.5 (unweighted) and a 4.5 (weighted) GPA. It is always good to start out high your freshman year so you can maintain it till your senior year. I started kind of lower than I expected though, but I still have a lot of time left.

Anyways, I have this weird feeling the Giants will pull a big upset over the Pats this Sunday. Lets go GIANTS!

At the high school level, advanced classes aimed at (poorly) replicating the collegiate level get a 1.0 boost.

It depends. On an unweighted scale, you would obviously have a 4.0. But on a weighted it would depend. Unweighted is without counting honors/AP, unweighted just matters on the type of grades you get regardless of what level classes you're taking. Weighted is counted by honors and AP. If you're taking higher level classes than the normal level, you're GPA is going to be higher. Say if you're taking Honors/AP and another student is taking normal level. Say if you get a 92 in Algebra 2 Honors and they get a 92 in normal level Algebra 2, you'd have a higher GPA. So you're weighted GPA would be around 5.0+ if you're taking honors but most likely around 4.3-4.7 if you're taking normal level so its always good to take honors.
