Lol wtf did I just see on the Colbert Report? Stephen is Catholic in real life by the way, and he totally destroyed this guy who was hating on his religion, in that funny and witty fashion of his(but he meant what he said this time). You could tell he was kind of pissed, but Colbert seriously owned the author of "The Lucifer effect". The Author of that book was saying how "God sends people to hell", and then Stephen totally gave him a verbal facial.

I don't know why he let the interview take on a religious context; the content wasn't religion at all! Zimbardo is a household name in contemporary social psychology. His Stanford Prison Study continues to be the single most important research done in supporting theory of social interacting; that external factors in the environment have as much effect on deciding how we behave as internal ones (personality, mood, etc). That's what he was getting at by bringing up his study, but the 'external factors' were correlated to evil, and the conversation left psychology and went to religion. It left me widely disappointed, but I definitely wouldn't say that he was some religion fanatic who got crushed.
I thought of pegs when I saw this <div><object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/4xRUoDkexko&"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/4xRUoDkexko&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350" /></embed></object></div>

Colbert can't be underestimated. I remember when he bombarded this woman who argued that Obama shouldn't try to represent the black community (because his recent family is African and weren't slaves) with so much sarcasm that she unintentionally admitted her argument made no sense. This other time he ripped apart Dinesh D'souza (although that's not that difficult). And you can't forget the speech he made at the White House dinner.

What a crazy ride home from school! It's freezing cold, and a huge storm with atleast 50+ MPH wind came, the bus drove me to my bus stop and I had to walk 3 blocks home, this girl was right ahead of me, and she got attacked by a dog in the rain. It was scary and funny at the same time. I'm soaking wet right now, had to be one of the wildest walk home, i've ever experienced.
