Ok i am really mad that nobody has stoped the oakland raders yet as there record stands at 3-0 in the pre-season. the vikes could have stopped there record but childres chose not to..i really dont want to see there pre-season record go to 5-0
maybe the heading should be...does anybody care about the preseason raiders...when the season comes they'll bomb...
How have they been winning their games? Good defensive efforts or "our scrubs are better than your scrubs?"

That should bring them back down to earth.
Well if i remember the Colts didn't win a preseason game last year. This could kind of be the opposite situation
The Raiders look terrible. It really doesn't matter if you go 5-0 in preseason, especially if you win because your 3rd string guys beat up on another team's 3rd string guys. This is, unfortunately, what the Raiders have done so far. Childress made the right move by not sending the game into OT. Why risk further injury in a preseason game that has already served its purpose?

Shouldn't you be putting more effort into supporting the Texans than in worrying about the RAIDERS?
maybe the heading should be...does anybody care about the preseason raiders...when the season comes they'll bomb...
First, it's nice to see a new Steeler fan in the forums. Second, I don't see how anyone can put anything behind preseason records or scores unless you only look at the time that the starters are in the game. Preseason games don't show much in the main. I'm not sure what you consider bombing, but I don't thenk that the RAIDERS are going to win the division or make the playoffs this season.
How have they been winning their games? Good defensive efforts or "our scrubs are better than your scrubs?"
The first two games they looked like shit. The Eagle game (1) was ugly on both sides of the ball and the game was won because of scrub play. The Viking game (2) was pretty much the same. The 'Niner game (3) they seemed to have come together much better on offense and defense, but it was only the 'Niners.
The next game is suposed to be the closest to a real game before the regular season starts. The Lions running game needs to show that they can run on somebody, and the RAIDERS need to show that the the first team can move the ball on somebody except the 'Niners.
Well if i remember the Colts didn't win a preseason game last year. This could kind of be the opposite situation
My friends and I used to talk about how during their heyday the RAIDERS seldom won many preseason games. We used to joke about perfect preseasons being ones without a win. For some teams it's important, for others it isn't. I don't think that there has to be a correlation between winning before the season and during the season.
The Raiders look terrible. The RAIDERS did hold a halftime lead in that game, so it?s not all about the third string. And I agree completely about putting players at injury risk as little as the league requires.
