<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>The trio of interior blockers that will be part of the offensive line charged with protecting Green Bay quarterback Brett Favre in 2006 will be comprised of three youngsters with a total of 12 NFL starts.

In an effort to provide the unit more time to gel before the Sept. 10 regular-season opener at Chicago, first-year coach Mike McCarthy has already settled on his five starters, even with two games still remaining on the preseason schedule. The lineup includes third-year veteran center Scott Wells and a pair of rookie guards, Jason Spitz and Tony Moll.

McCarthy, it seems, is intent on going greener in Green Bay in an effort to upgrade the line.</div>

I think if they improve from game to game, we have a chance to do somethings with them as guards. We'll have to wait and see what happens. Can't say I'm thrilled too have rookie guards but I can't say I'm going to give up on them already. They looked great against the Falcons and they have a very good front 7.

That will probably take a while, but I think there's a lot of future talent there. I think Moll and Spitz can be solid and I really like Scott Wells. I think Darryn Colledge will be good at some point, too, but needs to develop his technique for a while first.

pretty much agree. It cracks me up that some people talk about Colledge as a bust. Sheesh give the guy some time and he'll be a future starter. Some guys are more NFL ready while others may have more potential
