When talking to fans of other teams, I often hear them praise their offensive line as one of the best in the league - whether its due to their size, athleticism, or experience. The local media here is already praising the Vikings offensive line just because of their talent (Birk, McKinnie, and Hutchinson). I then talked to a Redskins fan who praised his team's offensive line as the best in football. Denver obviously has a claim to the title with their 'insta-star runningback' ability, and KC has long been known for their offensive line. So who exactly has the best offensive line, and why? Curious minds want to know.
Kansas City did have the best line before Roaf retired. With all of Indy's gaudy numbers passing and rushing and the fact that Manning is almost never hit, you could make a case for them as well. Someone should do a search and see who gave up the fewest sacks last year (Indy?). That will probably be the answer.
The problem with the Colts O-line is that people know the best way to defend Peyton Manning is to give him pressure up the middle and make him leave the pocket and throw on the run. Every postseason, someone does that and eliminates them. I have a hard time considering them the best for that reason.
Who led the league in rushing last year? Pittsburgh? If whoever led the league in rushing last year also gave up bottom five or so in sacks, you could make a case for them, too.
It may be the Vikings....they have the best C and the best G in the league and McKinnie is an improving talent at LT that could assume the title of best tackle soon....
For me its between the Vikes, Seahawks, and Colts. Even though the Hawks will miss Hutchinson theyll be fine, The Vikings got Hutchinson, and the Colts O-Line Protects Peyton well and maybe the only reason edge was such a big success was because of the O-line
IDK about this one. Usually the best O-line is the best when you think about the most yardage gained. But when you think about it, the leading rushing team is the Falcons (I think...). But there is the exception because Michael Vick is the running star on that team. But when I think of O-line, I think about the fewest sacks allowed. And since I don't know which team has it so I'll end it there.
ill still go with the Cheifs..they might not be the most talented but they work together and Larry Johnson is amazing with that line
