Having winning my previous two seasons with my friends's keeper league. We did the rookie draft yesterday. During the draft, I tried to fix three key positions.

    1. Tight End
    2. Wide Reciever
    3. Running Back

Here is how my draft went out...

    Round 1 (Pick 10)
    Vernon Davis, TE

    Round 2 (Pick 20)
    Traded for Keyshawn Johnson

    Round 3 (Pick 30)
    LenDale White, RB

My draft went well actually. I cut Tony Gonzalez after the draft and have Chris Cooley and Vernon Davis at the TE positon. I made a trade for Keyshawn since Jimmy Smith retired and I have a feeling that Santana Moss is going to have a bad season. So I'm trying to dangle him in a trade. I cut DeShaun Foster and Rian Lindell since I have to cut at least four players after every season. I'm in trouble at the running back position with only LenDale White and Corey Dillon. I might go in free agency for Frank Gore when he's off the waiver wire. Here is how my team looks so far:

QB Tom Brady / Ben Roethlisberger
WR Anquan Boldin / Keyshawn Johnson / Santana Moss / Ernest Wilford
RB Corey Dillon / LenDale White / Frank Gore (PENDING)
TE Chris Cooley / Vernon Davis
    K Jay Feely
    DEF Baltimore / Indianapolis

So now I have an empty roster spot and have to cut another player, I look back at least year's rookie draft and laugh at myself. I couldn't believe that I took Aaron Rodgers, Roddy White, and Mike Nugent and they didn't even be on the roster at the end of the season.

BTW, this draft wasn't done online, it was done in the garage at my friends house, the commisioner's(spelling?) place. And I've officially renamed my team "MK the 3rd." Hoping to three-peat.

The thing is that, I've had a good run with Tony the first year I had him and last year was pretty mediocre and when Chris Cooley showed what he could do then it was a no-brainer to start him. Now Gonzalez is going to be used more of a blocker with Richardson and Roaf leaving. And I have to plan for the future since Vernon Davis was a good pick for the future.
