<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Voodoo Child @ Jun 16 2008, 11:21 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (pegs @ Jun 16 2008, 09:46 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>So I got this job at this Jewish Community Center place (even tho I'm not Jewish - my aunt got me the job). I've been working here for a couple weeks now. Up until now, I've been doing yardwork. And it's been pretty easy, and really flexible - I can come in whenever I'd like, work however long I want to. It's been a pretty easy job.

Today, I come into this place...and usually, there's a secretary at the desk (she's pretty hot, too). Well today, she wasn't there - or here...so, guess what they did? They got me working here, answering the phone and stuff. I barely know what I'm doing, and I hate answering the phone haha. I haven't shaved in 3 days, either. So here I am, a kid with a beard and a white tee, to answer people's calls and talk to anyone who walks into this office. I'm nervous as hell. Hopefully this goes by really fast. I definitely wish I was somewhere else right now.</div>

Well that's one thing you wouldn't find in the south, a Jewish Community Center... or any Jews for that matter. I remember as a kid the only time I'd see Jews was when my family would take trips back to Detroit. It was a pretty big culture shock actually. In the south, you won't find any Jews, Hispanics, Asians, Indians, or Italians. At least, in the deep south (ie: New Orleans to Little Rock to Memphis to Atlanta).

Anyway, Mississippi is not a glamorous place to live. Southern Mississippi is a lot nicer than the rest of the state, but even southern Mississippi isn't as wealthy as anywhere in the northeast.

As for liking the 80's so much, is that a joke? The music, movies, and culture were ridiculously bad. Usually the 80's are the punchline for every joke. I literally get sick in the stomach every time I see 80's shit on tv, and that's literally not an exaggeration. I mean, wow... the 80's... seriously?

And why does it seem like chicks like the 80's so much? It seems like ya'll are the only ones who can find the positives in it.

BTW - Yinka, you were born in '93? So you're... 14/15? Damn, you're young enough to be my son, haha. It always sounds weird when I hear people say they were born in the 90's, but really, that is sort of crazy you're that young. That's my little baby sister's age (she just turned 15), so to think you're the same age is bizarre.
    </div>

Wow, no Italians? I couldn't imagine a place like that. It'd be a lil too weird to me. Also, Hispanics? Sheesh. Well then, ever heard of a Bosnian? [IMG]

Yeah, it is in Southern Mississippi. From what I hear, it's really nice - the river right by his place, and woods to go hunting in...and Florida beaches are close enough to drive to, and there's mad girls there. I might be visiting there sooner or later this summer.

I actually really liked the 80s. That's when the pop music was alright, the rap music was at or near the top of its game. And the movies weren't that bad - you've just gotta find the right ones. Basketball was definitely at its best, though. Magic, Bird, Jordan, Isiah, Hakeem, Erving were all at or approaching their primes - I would've loved to have been there for that.

I think girls like the 80s so much because there's so much popular pop music that girls love, and the popular/well-known movies at the time all seemed to be directed at females. But there's so much stuff other than that to get into in the 80s.

How do you deal with someone with crossed-eyes? There's a new student-worker in our department who's pretty hot and very friendly, but I think her eyes are permanently stuck in a non-normal position. I have a feeling that I'm going to say/do something offensive unintentionally, when its all said and done.

End of 93, yup. Is she hot? At least as good as L's sister?

We were actually considering moving down to Atlanta, near the UPS headquarters. You'd see your first Indian [IMG]

    Just stare at her boobs.

Or, just look at her lips while she's talking.

That's probably what I'll do. You don't really pay attention to eye contact in normal conversations, so I'm struggling to know where I should be looking and for how long. Lunch should be interesting.

I think if you watch their lips they'll know that you're not looking at their eyes. I'd shoot for the bridge of the nose, right between the eyes.

  7. The Dream

The Dream mama there goes that man!

i went out on a date last night so I missed the first half of the game.....that was aight with me, but what wasn't alright was me checking out the hostess more than my date.....I mean my date was "cute" in a sorta junior high type of way (she really looks young eventhough she's 22)...I kept my attention on my date by conversating for a good while, but an occassional peak at the hostess's ass, legs, face, etc. kept that attention divided. I feel bad, because she's a really sweet girl and she's fun to talk to and hang with, but I'm semi-shallow so I doubt it will work out..........

Stare at her forhead. It looks like you're looking her in the eyes. Or you can be like "Why are you looking at me funny?" amd see how she takes it.
