I guess it's cool. His parents died in the Holocaust and he was adopted by Romanian parents who taught him French and sent him to school. His sister wasn't adopted though and she was just let out, but she's good now and she's still within the family.

My grandfather wasn't branded with a number, which I found interesting as well. He was only 13/14 in there. I don't think I could go through shit like that.

Yea, well kids back then, especially Euro kids, were raised very strictly. Only spoke when spoken too. Not like kids today with their free will and rights and their kids help phone.
