I haven't watched Real World since the first episode (to see if there were any girls like Cameron again). I'm glad I haven't watched since...

Really, it's the voice that gets me. And that lil southern charm. [IMG]

I was drinking beer the other night. My friends kept trying to get me to drink some liquor. I responded with a big "HELLLLLL NO!"

Real World Hollywood is awesome. Greg was my fav just because of how cocky he was. But now he's gone!!!! Sarah I thought was hot, but she's a bitch. Will is pretty cool and Joey scares the shit out of me when he gets drunk, but he went through rehab.

You're advocating fighting a girl? [IMG] although that'd probably go 5 rounds at least.

I've never seen an episode of the Real World in my life, so I had no idea who Sarah was. I googled it, and here's her bio:
    <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Age: 21

    Phoenix, Ariz.

A recent graduate from Arizona State University, Sarah is serious about becoming a broadcast journalist. Although she's a budding feminist, she still retains some strong conservative, traditional views. Sarah is very close to her family, and this is the first time she has lived so far from home. Her move to Hollywood has put a strain on her long-distance relationship with her boyfriend, who used to be her debate coach. Will The Real World teach Sarah how to stand on her own two feet or will she fall flat on her face?</div>

    Tapped it, Jigga?

What the fuck. My grandma calls me and tells me (guilt trips ) I should go with my mom to Philadelphia to pick my sister up from Orientation, to give her company, because she's tired. Is she really going to fall asleep at 2 PM? It's a 4 hour drive both ways combined, and I have nothing to do in the car.

    What did I tell you?

Absinthe... man, I've had so many funny nights with that, not really getting drunk, but watching friends visit New Orleans, get excited when they see absinthe available at a bar, and spending upwards of $8 a shot on it. It really doesn't do anything to me, but I have friends who'll order six or seven shots of it, and after every shot, they'll put on this act like it's putting them in another world.

As for the Real World, I'm surprised that any heterosexual males actually watch that show to be honest. It'll take a lot to get me to watch MTV these days, much less their reality tv show marketed to tweeners. I'm sure that comes off a little stiff and elitist, but jesus, the Real World? Wow, my fifteen year old sister acts above it. I guess someone's watching MTV though, because it seems to still be a ratings giant, and all those awful, mindless songs they play keep topping the charts.

I'm not against popular music, dance music, etc. because I like having songs to dance to in the club. Songs like "Glamorous" by Fergie to "Love in this Club" by Usher are fun to dance to, and I hear them played when I'm out all the time. On the other end of the spectrum though, I've never heard anyone play the Pussycat Dolls, Metro Station, or Danity Kane, yet dance songs from groups like that always wind up on the top of the charts and are heavily played on MTV. I can imagine those are the songs that are really influenced by the age 5-15 year old age group though, which makes sense I guess, because I'd assume that most kids in that age would be at a pre-downloading music age.

Hey, not saying you can't enjoy it. I'm just saying, if I enjoyed it, I'd keep it to myself. But like I said earlier, that probably comes off real prickish.

INOJ - "Love You Down" - Anyone else remember this song? Haha, for whatever reason, I came across it when looking at the billboard charts and I'm respinning it. In hindsight, this seems like the perfect strip club song. And Lil' John produced it? He's DJ'ing in the video... weird. I guess he did Ghost Town DJ's too though, or was that Jermaine Dupree?

Anyway, I like seeing some vintage posters on s2... like Nick Mockford and Ice. Pretty cool.

You ever enthusiastically follow/support a player that has the talent but its up in the air whether he'll be able to live up to it? And there's usually no way you can convince other people that he'll be good, because you don't have a totally rational reason for believing that in the first place? I'm that way with Andrea Bargnani. I support him a lot and I feel really strongly that he's going to be a legit player down the road, but its virtually impossible to get other people to understand why I think that way. It's kind of a weird feeling.

The last couple players I've felt like that about were Eli Manning (who lived up to it) and Felix Potvin (who didn't, even though it wasn't entirely his fault).
