Marv Levy went to Harvard & Dick Jauron to Yale or vice versa but explain their draft rationale to me. They could have traded down to get Whitner and not traded up to get McCargo.

note: I wrote this thought down about draft time but it got misplaced until now

I keep waiting for him to emerge from the rock he slithered under last fall.

The only thing he'd do is call me a stupid Dolphins fan. How I miss his wit!? Well; half of it.

BTW; this is my 4,000th post. I coming to get ya BF1.

TKO what a joke. He seemed to have a lame excuse for everything. If the bills start winning he'll be back and then they screw up and he'll leave again

As FYI, Marv Levy also went to a small college where I work (Coe College). I have several photos of him in sports. Evidently, he was especially good in track. Just a little trivia for you....

i think they were both REALLY GREAT moves by the Bills because everyone who gets drafted by the Bills is obviously gonna be a HOF just look at JP Losman.... and BA you are a stupid dolphins fan

lol wow do i love making fun of him.... those moves by the bills were such bogus lol idk i remember reading someones idea of what happened. That the GM and owner came late and the janitor decided he wanted to make the picks. So he picked up the phone and made a few phone calls and he (as a DOLPHINS fan) preceded to destory the Bills. And then the GM and owner finally got there and they fired the janitor and decided to make up for those picks by picking the same position in the 3rd and 4th rounds. i definatly coulda happened

Well, we have BF1 for the sledgehammer variety of subtle. I'm just filling the void like a good capitalist.

I could be the most stupid Dolphins fan on the planet but the small toe on my left foot would still be smarter than everyone in green at the Meadowlands. If your not down w/ that, I've got 2 words 4 ya. LOL.

I don't know whats funnier. A janitor making the bills picks or a jets fan is a janitor.

Hey! I have an idea. Lets call CBS; we can have a sitcom where the guy is a delivery driver and a jets fan.

Make no mistake. Those players are going to be some good players. McCargo was climbing draft boards and I remember debating with Cubbs on another forum about him. I had McCargo going early round 2 come Draft Day. Going in round 1 didn't really surprise me. I was a little surprise they traded up.

I was a big Donte Whitner fan. Now as a top 10 pick I thought he was a reach but as player he should make some big plays down the road.

Both were a bit of a reach though especially with Whitner but in the end they didn't take any chances and got the guys they were targeting so it worked out well for them, I'm sure.

Now if they get Brady Quinn next year, I think they could begin to slowly climb out of the hole. Of course Quinn will need to start a season before we put him in the HOF like JP Losman.[IMG]

I loved John Mcargo but i dont know about Donte Whitner at 8th overall..They should of traded up for Huff or down and still got Whitner. But it is a good draft class just they could of got more value from it.

hahaha well i cant really say anything because the Jets are in a similar situation but my point was te picks werent as bad as they seemed i dont think.

btw i was watching the Jets game with a Bills fan and he was trying to make fun of my while the Jets were on their way to being destroyed. He tried but I didn't let him talk by making him look at the score of the Bills game and then asking him what the score of the Jets vs Bills game was. Stupid Bills fans... theres no intelligence in Buffalo.

Yeah looks like both NY representatives of the AFC got put back in their place on Sunday. And this following the Yankees elimination from the postseason. What a trifecta! [IMG]
