    My parents would be annoyed (still are, I guess) when I watched any cartoon they deemed inappropriate, like Simpsons or South Park. I just ignore them now

    Food network is good, but that's the only thing my dad watches. I'm watching the NBA Finals, he grabs the control, and switches it to food network. And rachel Ray. Rachel, ****ing, Ray.

    Agreed with Chutney. Keep that shit out of here, please.

    We are fairly careful. My oldest will be a 5th grader this fall and he won't be watching the Simpsons. Now a huge part of that is that he has younger siblings and all TV time for the kids is considered shared TV time.
    </div>

    I think adults make a big deal about teens being overly impressionable by TV and movies. IMO, friends and music have much more influence. I wouldn't worry too much with the 5th grader.

    For some reason when I woke up my stomach felt cramped up..it felt like hell. Kinda weird.

    I hope I'm not pregnant.</div>
    Did Jizzy do this to you? That bastard!

    No, there are real concerns even at that age. A few months ago he woke up in the middle of the night and he ended up seeing some CSI: Miami episodes with me. The next week was filled with questions about murder and stealing money.

    On the bright side, he is now laundering money through the Caymans.

    I think we're thinking of different genres. If I saw a violent movie, I wouldn't behave violently, or really reflect on the movie.

    Anyone else find it funny that they sent a South African to present the Arthur Ashe award?

    People always joke about Chuck Norris, but I think I was one of the few kids that regularly watched Walker Texas Ranger. My Dad and I watched it all the time. Now there's a show you'd want your kids watching. I credit it for giving me my strong moral fibre.

    When they announced Everett, I half expected to see Garnett scream "ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!" Seems much more applicable.

    South Park is the best! Imagination Land is a favorite as well as night of the living homeless. Anyone seen that one?

    Unwrapped on Food Channel, TMNT 2 on ABC Family.

    What to watch? Such a difficult decision.

    Hm, there's a good thing on Batman on the History Channel.

    Wow, it's really been a while since I watched TV like this.
