He was funny the first time, and even a bit the second time. But so much of the same type of jokes is too much. He was the shit in Old school and Anchorman. After Anchorman, there is nothing new.
GQ had this Will Ferrell movie formula in their latest issue. Pretty funny. Ferrell's been shit after Anchorman.
It is all the same shit. But it never gets old. Its the same movie every time, and its always funny. I think that deserves props, not criticism.

In Old School he was an awesome supporting character. in Anchorman, he brought some original stuff. every movie he has been after that has essentially been Anchorman type jokes with different professions. "Oh look! I'm an immature and moronic Olympic skater! Now I'm an immature and moronic basketball star! Lets not forget that I can use the same type of jokes as a Nascar driver! Oh shit, I'm running out of professions! I know! I'll be an immature and moronic step brother! Oh, and I'll have that wannabe Reilly co-star with me!" I'm not a fan of the same jokes being rehashed. They dont have the same humor as the originals. It went from win to fail.

Wasn't there some random soccer movie that no one cared about? I remember seeing part of it on TV, it was so completely lame
Kicking & Screaming. Now that was idiotic (in a bad way). Will Ferrell shouldn't be anywhere near kids' movies.

No need to bash John C. Reilly though. That's a solid supporting actor and an underrated comedy actor that never seems to get the recognition he deserves.

I thought he was hilarious in Boogie Nights. That's not really a comedy film, but his character was funny.
its gonna be like that for the first week or two. after that, idk if it was a matter of the pain just leaving or me getting used to it.
My friends and I decided to take a road trip up to Boston to tie up some loose ends. Before heading home we decide to determine the bar/lounge scene by Harvard...and didn't end up leaving until 11:20. Got home at 5am. blah
