So, I'm watching the LLWS and saw the scroll with the George announcement. All I can figure is that he wants to come back to retire as a RAIDER before he goes into the hall.

The "hall" in the home for Never lived up to potential. Right, Chip?

He did play with Moss for a season. Maybe their hoping he can teach Brooks that invaluable lesson that most QB's know when playing with Moss - if you give him a chance, he'll come down with a good % of jump balls.

The Randy Moss Ratio revisited, eh?

I wonder if TO knows about the RMR? ROFL.

What I'm reading is that the RAIDERS want an additional QB familiar with the system as an emergency reserve in case they need someone later in the season. On the Moss angle, according to Shell, Moss recommended that they bring him in since he was familiar with him as VF pointed out. He won't make the squad, but he'll be a backburner guy "just in case".

I thought that I had stated the reason(s) for signing him in the post above yours. LOL

George is an up and down kind of guy. He seems to have done well for a few years at each of his stops before going off the deep end and falling apart. As for being cut, I don't think that anyone expected him to make the roster... again, see my post above yours. LOL
