Gary cubiak was talking to the local media the other day and one of the reporters asked him what is he gonna do with domanick davis, He ansered saying that he doesent want anyone on the team who hasent practiced yet, he said he whants what is best for domanic and the team, he said if the start of the season was today he would have rookie wali lundy start as rb. He said it will be a tough dicision when he has to make the cut to 53... Well last year the texans re-signed davis with a 8 million-dollar bonus then they pass on reggie bush on draft day.. i really hope they keep davis..for the sake of the organization

I hope they keep Davis for the sake of my Fantasy team. [IMG]

In all seriousness, I think this is more of a motivational thing on Kubiak's part. If they were to cut Davis at this point, the salary cap ramifications would be huge. If it comes down to it, they could put him on IR for the year, but I don't see them doing that, either.

I just traded for Davis in my FF league. The guy needs to toughen up and get on the field - the trade I made is going to look ridiculous if I lose him.

i was thinking the same thing except for the Jets... i'm not sure i see it happening tho because of the contract and salary cap problems it would cost them some people said that they didnt draft Reggie because there was no point since they just signed DD to a big contract. but hey anything can happen, passing up on Reggie now seems like a bigGER mistake now
