well i knew it would happen no surprises here. I hope Kellen Clemens wins the backup job because i like him the best, and cause we need him to develop. Hopefully the Jets will exceed expectations but i'm not gettin my hopes up lol

I wonder how long it will be before Mangini decides to build for the future and give Clemens experience.

The jets should do okay. I have them winning 6 -- good for third in the division.

If Pennington plays like he did in 2002, then the east becomes a 3 team race.

Pennington ( I like him alot as a player and a person from what I can tell)

has lost the necessary zip onto the ball. He floatrs balls up way to much, with that said he can lead the team but he will never be to that 2002 form IMO.

I agree. Further, I like Chad and wish him the best.

While watching SportsCenter, I had a thought. How bad are the other 3 that Chad won the starting job?

Rumor was that Clemens was dare I say en fuego. You could not stop Kellen you could only hope to contain him.

I had not heard anything about Ramsey or Brooks.

i would love for him to play like he did in 2002 when he played like that the future looked ultra bright for the Jets but i think two shoulder surgeries are enough to get a player down. I dont think he'll play that well again... i'm rooting for him of course i really like Pennington. Kellen Clemens is definatly the future QB he is looking great he'll probably win backup
