But if the Blazers are asking for Hinrich, Gordon or Deng, nothing is going to happen. Obviously, the Bulls are hoping the price comes down this summer, though one popular rumor has Randolph headed to New Jersey for Richard Jefferson. </div> http://www.dailyherald.com/sports/beatwrit...cgraw&id=321847 i'd do it, if we keep vince. randolph has allstar potential (i felt he should of made it) and can get 18 8 games which would help, and hes only 28...
I've said it before, I have mixed reactions about this trade. Randolph looks like a solid pickup, but he constantly gets into trouble, and just seems immature. How long does it take to step it up? I really don't want to give away Jefferson, but it's obvious, if we trade for a big man, Jefferson is the key component.
i think that would be a good trade. Solidifys the front line and also imagine what jason kidd would make him just like he did with k-mart.
It's a big gamble, but with big gambles you could end up with big prizes. I would take the chance. I bet Jason Kidd could get him to mature and stay out of trouble because he is such a great veteran leader.

Richard Jefferson and JKidd were playoff contenders and made the NBA Finals before Vince Carter arrived. If VC wouldnt have come to New Jersey, Richard Jefferson would be makin the allstar game every year. IMO. I feel Jeffeson got robbed in the VInce trade, and was forced to take the lesser role in the New Jeresy offense due to it. Shoot if the Nets wanna trade him, i bet Jeffesons a happy mother ******. lol

The trouble that Randolph gets into is pretty unforgivable in my eyes. RJ has criticized the team, but he's a winner and a model citizen, and I rather take that and lose in the 2nd round than getting Randolph and be considered finals contenders--as far as the East goes. I know Kidd has a penchant for getting guys to clean up their acts and playing better, but I mean, we haven't faced a malcontent like Randolph before. Marcus Williams was a locker room problem and he's relatively light compared to Zach.
