Assistant General Manager Chris Grant, who runs the team's draft, attended the NBA Pre-Draft Camp in Orlando, Fla., during the Eastern Conference finals. Multiple teams have extra first- and second-round picks. Grant said the Cavs might have the green light to buy a pick for as much as $3 million, but it would depend on who's available during different points in the draft. The Cavs might look to sign undrafted players to nonguaranteed contracts. </div> Source
That's definitely worth a shot, especially if we can get a good player in the late first/early second round. It's a solid shooter or post player that we really need, someone to muscle in around the paint or get easy points when teams close in on LeBron.

His name's Shannon Brown. You know, that guy who sits behind the bench all dressed up but never actually suits up. I could definitely see a player like Sean Williams in a Cleveland uniform though. Come to think of it, maybe this is where Shannon Brown can come in handy. They can ship him out to a team like Miami or New York, a team with a late first round pick that could actually give him some playing time. That way everybody wins.
