Argh. I would hate for the Heat to draft Byars. Byars is my sleeper in this years draft. He reminds me a lot of Brandon Roy from last year in the fact that he can do everything. He's not as good as Roy, but he would definitely make an instant impact. He's one of the more underrated prospects because I never hear anything about him, which is odd considering he won the SEC POY award.

i've heard hes a pretty good player, but i really havent had the chance to see him play, so im not sure. but if we do get him, i just want him to bring everything he has to the table and play at his best, cant really ask for more can i?

Are they giving up on Wright? Or is Wright going to play the 2?

Both Wright and Byars are versatile enough to where they can play either wing position. And regardless, Byars brings a different skillset to the table than Wright. He's more NBA-ready and will help the Heat defensively right from the start. You also have to look at all of the wings the Heat are potentially losing this offseason. James Posey, Eddie Jones, and Jason Kapono are all free agents.

I was just wondering. I agree with Gators he is a underrated player and will do good in the pros. I think he will be more like Danny Granger than Brandon Roy though

I think this guy will be a steal if he gets drafted this low or lower (kinda like when Josh Howard was drafted.) I'm hoping the Magic get him somehow.
