How many current Patriot WRs, other than Deion Branch, caught as many as 40 balls or had 500 yards last season? My point is that the Patriots aren't exactly loaded at WR especially if Branch gets traded.

Yeah, at least the Packers have Driver [IMG] Also Jennings has alot of potential, but it'd be nice to have a wide receiver outside of Driver who is at least somewhat proven.

Pinkston is no better, than Ferguson, or Gardner, if we want a guy who gets alligator arms over the middle why not just keep Fergy?

I heard Feeley got released by the Chargers and re-signed by Philly.

Do the Eagles need an upgrade @ clipboard holder?

That's about ALL A. J. is proficient at doing.

Feeley is a solid backup QB. Not a starter, but if you need someone for 3 games cuz your starter is hurt, he is a good guy to have.

I stand corrected there was that one stretch where BF1's fave player (McNabb) was out as was Koy Detmer that AJ tore it up. Sadly, this hot streak convinced Wanny/Spielman to trade & overcompensate the Igglesfor this yahoo.

LOL. I forgot about mcnabb being my favorite player. In all fairness to feeley, he had wannstedt as his coach first year in miami ( ugggh!) who wanted fiedler to start (double ugghhh) and saban the next who wanted nothing to do with him either. Did he play well enough? NO, but he still throws better than vick!!!

From what I understood, Gardner was in the coaches dog house. As for Ferguson, he didnt impress me at all last year. Now Pinkston is coming off injury, but in 2004 he caught 36 passes for 676 yards. Last year Ferguson caught 27 passes for 366 yards. I don't think it would hurt to give him a chance.

considering he was a #1 for that team a couple of years back and never hit over 800 yards is pathetic!

^^ I'm not saying he should start, I think though that he could beat out Ferguson for the number 3 spot, since Jennings most likely has number 2. Now, I'm not sure whats going on with Gardner, if he isn't in too bad with the coaches he may get the number 3 spot. If that happens I don't think it'd be worth signing him and working him into the offense to see if he could get the number 4 spot.

Have you ever heard of the theory your WRs are only as good as your QB?
