Sell. If they trade anyone it will be JRich. Buy or Sell: Jason Richardson gets traded before the season starts.
Sell. But then again, Mullin is not afraid to go against his word if a good deal comes up. Buy or sell, Jackson will be acquitted from his charges.
Buy, if not acquitted then the punishment will be very minimal. Buy or Sell, the Golden State Warriors have close to a 50 win season with the momentum coming from 06/07.
<div class="quote_poster">GArenas Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Buy or Sell, the Golden State Warriors have close to a 50 win season with the momentum coming from 06/07.</div> Buy, assuming Baron stays healthy. I don't think their run last year was a fluke at all, they went 16-5 down the stretch last season, won every must win game, then beat the Mavs in the POs and played the Jazz pretty close in the second round (should have won the first two games). The team could be shaken up with a trade but IMO the 3 really key guys are Baron, Jackson, and Biedrins. Baron's importance is obvious if you watched the POs. Jackson gives us a secondary wing player who can penetrate at will and create off of penetration and hes our best defender plus he seems to be a secondary leader as well. Biedrins' impact is also obvious with his strong rebounding and interior defense. Obviously, J-Rich, Monta, Barnes, Harrington were all important to our team last year but their contributions can be replaced by one another or draft picks for the most part. Buy or sell the Warriors take a swingman or PG with the 18 pick.
Sell: They are a good playoff team, but not a good season team Buy or Sell: Golden State will make a big time trade this offseason
<div class="quote_poster">Run BJM Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Buy or sell the Warriors take a swingman or PG with the 18 pick.</div> Sell. Unless Jordan re-enters the draft. Even if a big doesn't pan out, bigs are usually easier to trade. For example, POB is actually trade bait right now. If we had drafted an equally un-productive guard with his pick, it would be hard to move said player. 7-footers are easier to trade, plus GS needs some help at PF somewhere. I think they trade up, but if not, a guy like Sean Williams, Jason Smith, Tiago Splitter, or perhaps Josh McRoberts, they make some sense at #18. Buy or Sell: Nellie retires before the season starts.
Sell. I think Nelson has at least one year left especially after breaking 13 years of misery. Buy or Sell: We will see both Richardson and Monta in Warriors uniform at the beginning of 2008-2009 season...
Sell. I think Monta will be here, but J-Rich will be gone. Buy or Sell The Warriors resign Josh Powell?
Buy. I think he stays with us at summer camp, we give him a contract for next year and play him. He has a long body, he's quick, he's strong, he can rebound, block shots, and has a quality jumper. I think he's superior to Ike already. B/S We move Al Harrington for a draft pick.
Sell -- I think some team drastically overpays for him, ala Brian Cardinal... B/S Baron plays at least 75 games next season.
BUY BUY BUY!!! B/S Zarko comes back strong in camps and emerges as Nellie's 6th man of the year, an integral part of the team's success.
<div class="quote_poster">CABANGBANG Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">This one is hard to answer. He can come back strong in camp, but sixth man is left for Monta.</div> uh, cmon CABANG, this is B/S... We need an answer!!
<div class="quote_poster">Apollo Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">The Warriors make it back to the playoffs next year.</div> Buy. This team was terrific once Harrington and Jackson got settled. Things should be even better once they have a full offseason and season together. Buy or sell: Matt Barnes will re-sign with the Warriors.
