I just executed this trade in my league - looking for feedback:

Out of curiosity - what are other's thoughts on this trade:

I gave
T. Owens (Dal - WR)
R. Droughns (Cle - RB)
O. Lowe (Atl - DB)

I got
D. Jackson (Sea - WR)
D. Davis (Hou - RB)
Z. Thomas (Mia - DL)

I also have Randy Moss and Steve Smith at WR, which is why I was fine with parting with Owens...

Also, I am thinking about dropping Favre in favor of Aaron Brooks. I know, it sounds stupid, but think for a minute about how each of them are going to do. Brooks has receivers to throw to, Favre has mediocre receivers and a group of offensive linemen who setup a red carpet for defenses.

well Houstan is now talking about cutting Dom Davis (probably should have taken Bush) and i'm not sure how valueable defensive players are in ur league but getting Thomas was good. I think u got the sore end of the deal as

TO > DJ
Droughns > DDavis (backup or getting cut)
Thomas > Lowe

the good thing is if Davis gets cut then maybe a team with a running back situation like the Jets will pick him up and make him the starter. I'm wondering though how did ya get Steve Smith TO and Moss did you take WRs in the first 3 rounds. If u did i probably would have went with a running back somewhere in those three rounds

I wouldn't have done it. Especially considering the dog house that Domanick Davis is in right now. If Davis keeps his job, then it won't be that bad.

Well, I didn't know about the Davis thing at the time...but I am starting to agree with everyone here. It also looked as if TO was going to be a major problem and not get any time to work with Bledsoe.

even with the fact that TO hasnt worked with Bledsoe i think he can definatly still be one fo the best WRs in the league this year hes an awesome talent despite being a complete asshole. I dont think it was worth downgrading for a better linebacker.
