Oh boy, we get Kobe and this forum is going to be even more swamped. Blur and I are going to be working quadruple shifts in moderation. heh</div>

I expect to see many of Lakers fans change teams and jump on the Bulls bandwagon. Just looking around other sites, I already see some people who previously called themselves "laker fans not Kobe fans" stating they are no longer going to support the Lakers next year.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Although Kobe Bryant apparently would like to join the Bulls, Chicago general manager John Paxson sent a message to the Los Angeles Lakers' superstar on Monday: Don't count on it.

Paxson said he has had no discussions with the Lakers and a deal would be difficult to complete.

"What we would have to give up -- unless that franchise would ever have a change of heart and had to do something -- I don't know how that would work," he said. "They've got one of the top, maybe the top, talents in the league. What we would have to do to get there, I don't even know what it would be. It would be significant. And then, are we better?"

Bryant has waffled this offseason, saying he wants to be dealt and then rescinding those comments. Although he has a no-trade clause, The Riverside (Calif.) Press-Enterprise reported the Bulls are on his three-team wish list.

Paxson is reluctant to gut a young, but experienced, team that has made three straight playoff appearances and reached the second round for the first time since 1998.

"There's nothing going on -- that's just the reality of it," Paxson said.</div>

I don't think Kobe is going out of LA. It seems they're not going to trade him. It's a pity...

So much for KG to LA, I hate it when rumors get exaggerated like that.

Kobe has a very short list of teams he wants to be on and he desperately wants to come to the East. Bucher reiterates this point so much that I still believe a trade to the East will get done.

imo kobe to chicago could be a realistic scenario, with the breakdown of the kg to LA talks. kobe might very well get traded cause they're not gonna be contending for at least 4 years with the fully loaded teams out west, plus kg in phoenix. imo lakers better trade kobe now and get some young blood, cause we are'nt getting anything for him when he opts out next season. if that means taking the short end of the deal then so be it, cause lakers are'nt gonna be getting equal value for kobe.

With Pax choosing Noah, I think that a trade is in the play. I see Pax shopping Wallace this offseason. hes the highest paid player and if paired with Noch and/or gordon we could get a Randolph or bryant or Gasol. I think Noah fits in to the Wallace position on this team accept taller and younger.

    Hinrich
    Gordon
    Deng
    Randolph
    Noah

    Hinrich
    Bryant
    Deng
    Ty
    Noah

    Hinrich
    Gordon
    Deng
    Gasol
    Noah

Im kind of liking that first line up

But If I was coach I wouold go with this

    Hinrich/Duhon
    Thabo/Gordon
    Deng/Victor/griff
    Randoph/Ty/Allen
Noah/ Maybe get maglore in the trade with portland
