I am actually annoyed by all the "could we get Kobe" threads that have appeared of late on justbball.com but I couldn't resist it. Could Phoenix trade Marion and a mix of other players say Barbosa and Diaw or Thomas for Kobe? If I were Kerr and could have a trade that would leave me with Nash, Stoudemire and Kobe I would take it. Any thoughts?
Oh man, this lineup would be CRAZY. If you consider Amare as a superstar there would be 3 superstars in one team. I would do that trade but we should get someone from Lakers like Walton or someone because there would be too many empty spots.

Dont get your hopes up Kobe is just bluffing to see how the league would react. Plus I dont think that Kobe would want to go to the team that has beaten the Lakers two years straight in the playoffs. Kobe is a Laker for life!!

The others mostly don't have strong feelings towards the Lakers or Kobe, considering they haven't defeated Phoenix in a long time. Did Laker fans hate the Warriors back when LA was winning all those Champinships? 2) Only 1 Suns fan made a comment before yours "adoring" Kobe. From what I've heard, a lot of people want to keep the roster as it is; because we know this year we were only one unfair Stern ruling from winning it all. I like Kobe, I always have, I've always said I have. He may have an attitude and not get along with players and coaches, he has the whole rape thing, but as for playing the game of basketball, I like Kobe. Do I want him on the Suns? Depends what we give up, as it does with every trade. I think the current Suns roster could win a Championship, plus I'd appreciate it more as a chunk of our core (Nash, Amare, Barbosa, and Marion) was drafted by us and others have been here for years. Bringing in Kobe and winning a Champinoship would feel like the Yankees buying trophies.
