JamesOn Curry has been advised to not hire an agent. "It has always been a dream of mine to play in the NBA, and now is the time for me to pursue that dream," Curry said Monday, according to The Associated Press. "This is an opportunity that I just can't pass up. I'm ready for a new chapter in my life." Sutton said Curry informed him that he would be staying in the draft and was hopeful that he would be selected in the second round. Multiple sources told ESPN.com that Curry is under the impression that he is being selected in the second round by Chicago at No. 49. But, when contacted over the weekend, a member of the Bulls' personnel department said that was simply not true. A promise for a late second-round pick would be rare, considering that a number of scenarios could occur in front of a team that may make upholding such a guarantee tough to deliver.</div> Source: ESPN Take this for what its worth, as the article stated its hard to deliver on a second round guarantee because a team has no idea what will happen in the early part of the draft be it trades or some diamond in the rough some how slipping down to the second round. However, if the Bulls do plan on taking JamesOn in the second round I wouldn't be disappointed, he is a proven scorer on the college level and would provide a good spark off the bench.
Yeah I heard about this. Would be a great pickup in the 2nd round, this dude's good. Could fill that role Pargo did when we had him, I sort of wish we kept him, we coulda used him at times during the playoffs. If we can't get him though, I say we go for Glen Davis.

I would absolutely love to land Glen Davis I got a feeling he is going to be a guy similar to Milisap or Craig Smith, someone teams pass on that ends up having a great rookie season and proving he can really be a solid role player in the league for several years. I doubt he will last until the 49th or 51st pick. If we got both JamesOn and Davis along with a guy like Yi first round this would be a very successful draft imo.
Curry is a little too small and wouldn't help out for our size at the guard position, but I do understand he could somehow help the bench on offense. I would love to get Davis in the second round if possible, he could be a useful player of the bench because of his presence, and he can shoot the ball.
why does his name have a O at the end? And how is it pronounced? Jameson like Antawn Jamison of Washington or ??

He would be a steal at this point though, despite his obvious character flaws. He's caught a lot of heats because of his criminal record, his lack of size, and Oklahoma State's collapse down the stretch of the season, but when push comes to shove, he's one of the most prolific scorers in the entire draft.

Terrible name.</div> Yeah, it's really sad what urban American families are naming their kids these days. I mean, what is that doing to their kids in life? Who will hire a guy named JamesOn? I do think this promise makes more sense than the article lets on though. JamesOn Curry is a player that could rocket up the draft board simply because nobody really though he was staying in the draft until now and are now looking at him more seriously. If the Bulls are that impressed with him, then why would they want to let him go out there and prove in workouts that he's a first rounder?
