This is the bottom line. Just Trade him to Chicago. I really don't think Kobe staying in LA is going to work anymore. I mean even if we do get JO and Artest, is it enough to get out of the West?? There are so many IF'S... Will Artest be a safe bet? Will the team mesh? There are so many questions. Not to say, lets say we do get JO and start the season off with the team. I really don't think anybody left on the roster is going to want to play with Kobe. The guy just humilated his team publicly. Kobe cleraly wants to get out, so just let him go.
Well, for Kobe to be this pissed off with the organization, it has to be a higher up who is screwing up potential deals, leaking closed information, and making a push for the future. For Kobe to be this pissed off, it has to be Jim Buss who is completely ignoring Kobe and Phil's wants for better players. Kobe doesn't want to be here, plain and simple. Trade him, he's done a lot for the organization. Don't pimp him to sell seats, trade him. Get the team some young, good pieces to build around you're so called future in Bynum, and give Kobe a shot to win.

The Lakers are what they are, he hasn't called out anyone personally aside from the previous individuals mentioned. Why are you defending Mitch anyway? He's a veteran that wants to be on a 55+ win team or go to the East where a path to the Finals is much easier. Well I guess those guys couldn't get ESPN to bite. I guess ESPN has SOME journalistic pride and wouldn't want to risk their relationship with the sports world by airing this guerrilla video. $1.99 though - is anyone going to download it? I sure amn't.

Supposedly, Kobe asked Buss face to face not to trade Lamar. Luke thinks Kobe just needs to calm down. Who cares what Mitch thinks, he's just a pawn. Bynum is nothing, either...well...he's Jim Buss' lover.
Wow it will be interesting hearing The Bulls traded there 9th pick to the Lakers and Kobe leaving.It's, good to know that we only see the Bulls two times a season so Kobe will only score on us like 40 points or more in those two games.Sucks if we do trade him but the show must go on.
