<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">It has been three weeks since Kobe Bryant has been seen on television or heard on the radio. But that has not kept the Bryant story out of the media. Between KB24.com and YouTube.com, the Internet is bringing the events surrounding Bryant's apparent trade demand to the boiling point. The next chapter of this saga comes in the form of an amateur video, apparently taken several weeks ago, in which Bryant directs harsh statements at his teammate Andrew Bynum and Lakers GM Mitch Kupchak. The video is set to be released later this week by a group of men who have chosen to remain anonymous. They plan to charge users $1.99 to see footage of Bryant venting anger toward his current -- but perhaps soon-to-be former -- organization. ?Are you kidding me?? Bryant says in the video. Mixing in several profanities, Bryant says the Lakers should ?ship out? Bynum. ?We?re talking about Jason Kidd,? he says in reference to the trade Kupchak reportedly declined since it would have included Bynum. Bryant speaks derisively about Kupchak before the video ends.</div> Source
He's right though. Lakers management thought we'd hand them the, at worst, 2nd best point guard in the league for their garbage. Bynum isn't even all that great. He's shown glimpses, but looking back, so did Kwame, Olowokandi...and they thought that risk was worth passing a guy like Jason Kidd? Give me a break.
What insiders, what is being switched up? It's all legit. These two fan boys ran into Kobe outside of a local grocery store/deli in Newport Beach and one guy started taking photos of Kobe with his digital camera. Kobe is notoriously known for being very open with his fans when they bump into him, if they get into serious conversation. This happened, and when it was happening, the guy taking photos switched over from taking photos of Kobe to actually video taping the conversation. They're now selling the video to anyone who wants to buy it for $2.00. Basically, it's a candid conversation that Kobe had no idea they were video-taping him on. He says, "Jason Kidd? C'mon man, you gotta ship his ass out (Bynum)." "It's their f*cking fault they're in this mess" (about the Laker org) The guy then asks Kobe if he's going to stay a Laker and Kobe responds, "Get ready to buy your Chicago Bulls jersey man." The video will be released in the coming week. Expect it on Youtube.com within a week after it's release. They already made a trailer for the video. It's 100% Kobe.
