    Honestly, I don't think Kobe is going anywhere. For of all, it would be like trying to trade Michael Jordan in his prime, impossible, there is no way you could get equal value in return. Second, I don't think any teams are all that interested in tearing up their franchise just to get Kobe. It seems like a lose-lose situation for everyone, unless he stays with the Lakers.

    It does seem like Kobe will stay. Starting July 1, the new salaries for the upcoming season come into effect (making salaries match a little more complicated); with the draft passing and all the minor trades that have already occurred, that has practically made trading Bryant impossible in 07-08.
