I thought he was better than what Rocket fans and Laker fans have been posting, so I guess this would be a pretty bad deal. Something I didn't consider was... Luther Head's potential and totally forgot about the clutch shots he has made for Rockets. Just so disappointed with the season that I'm overlooking the good little things.
I mean, when Cookie gets hot, he's hot. You want to get him the ball. But it's really like a 50/50 shot at him being hot or off, and when he's off, he doesn't know when to stop shooting. I just can't believe this is a rumor started about the Lakers by a media source outside of L.A. As a Laker fan, I'd love for this to go down because Head would be a perfect backup PG for us considering who we target in free agency. I've heard some people talk about it being Wells and Head for Cook and Vujacic, but I'll believe that when I see it. As of now, I'd love Head for Cook, but I think Houston will realize it's a terrible trade.

As of now, I'd love Head for Cook, but I think Houston will realize it's a terrible trade.</div> Actually the rumor is coming out of the Houston Chronicle, and not any LA sources (not surprising, they're all too, busy following the Kobe video), so I'm hoping theirs some legs to this deal. I remember the Kings (then coach Adelman) were high on Sasha Vujacic and wanted to draft him. He's a lot better suited for an uptempo game, and should develop better in Adelman's system. Plus he'll benefit from playing with a legit scorer in the post.

Maybe it's not a 3 hour time difference, maybe I'm living three hours in the future Rocket fans, don't worry though. The deal is supposedly Bonzi Wells and Luther Head for Sasha, Cook, and the 40th pick and a pick next year.
Wasn't Bonzi benched by the Rockets this past season for acting up? Does anyone know if this is true and what exactly he did? Id love this trade to go down also.
Luther Head for Brian Cook? Wow. I'm surprised we can even get anything in return for that bum. I have no idea why the Rockets would want to make that trade, but I'm all up for it.
