VITALS: 6-5, 192, Climamio Bologna (Italy)

OVERVIEW: Belinelli's production has increased in each of his five pro seasons, topping off at 16.4 points with Bologna in Serie A play. He shot 34 percent from 3-point range - down from 41 percent the previous season - but was superb overall from the floor with a .544 percentage. Averaged 2.3 steals in Serie A. Belinelli played for Italy at the World Championships and averaged 13.5 points in the competition, including scoring 25 points against the United States in the preliminary round.

    LIKELY DRAFT POSITION: 17-27

    COMPARATIVE UPSIDE: Manu Ginobili

    COMPARATIVE DOWNSIDE: Arvydas Macijauskas

    ROLE PROJECTION: Quick-trigger perimeter shooter.

POSITIVES: Belinelli knows what it is like to meet high expectations. He played the past few years for two of the top clubs in Italy, which is behind only Spain in terms of quality among the European professional leagues. He's been a go-to scorer on his teams in Italy and even had his first shot at being the go-to guy on the national team in the 2006 World Championships. Belinelli can get a shot against anyone, reminding some scouts of Rex Chapman in that regard. He is quick and has the athletic ability to compete against NBA players.

He looks amazing in footage Ive seen of him. But he is not going to be able to attack the basket in the NBA the way he does in Euro leagues especially not with the frame he has.
