    VITALS: 6-8, 232, North Carolina

OVERVIEW: Ended four-year career at North Carolina third all-time in 3-point field goal percentage (.419). Ranked second on the team with 45 3-pointers and 24 blocks and third in rebounding (5.4 rpg) as a senior. Scored 13 points, including eight straight points in a span of 1:23, to help the Tar Heels beat North Carolina State for their first Atlantic Coast Conference tournament title since 1998. Named to the All-ACC third team as a junior. Was second on team in scoring (14.3 ppg). Played reserve role on North Carolina's national championship team in 2005.

LIKELY DRAFT POSITION: Early second-round pick.

    COMPARATIVE UPSIDE: Gerald Wallace

    COMPARATIVE DOWNSIDE: John Wallace

ROLE PROJECTION: Watch and learn; eventual rotation player.

POSITIVES: Terry is an impressive athlete, able to run and jump. He has an excellent touch on his shot from out to at least the college 3-point line. Despite his lack of bulk, Terry can go up the elevator and take rebounds away from bigger, stronger players. He has been schooled in the fundamentals at North Carolina but still has lots of room for growth due to uneven playing time in college.

SHORTCOMINGS: Terry is nowhere near a complete player. To capitalize on his athletic ability, he needs a lot of work on his ball-handling and in setting up his man in 1-on-1 situations. On defense, he needs a better understanding of how to guard the pick-and-roll and how to anticipate the movements of his man. If Terry can gain a better understanding of the nuances of the game, his athletic talent will be maximized. He'll probably need to log some time in the D-League.
